Then we'll go to Independencia 2 to see more about the second part of the history, explaining about the biggest urban mass grave in a all the world, Present and Transformation of the Comuna 13 as well. The time and starting point is at 9:00 am in Yolo Hostel located in Provenza Crr # 7A- 77 we will go by private vehicle to the Arenales that is the starting point of the ecological hike, we will be back at Yolo Hostel, at approximately 3:00 pm. In the morning, a car will pass by you from your hostel or airbnb place and if you want also at the meeting point to take you to the sanctuary. We will share an unique and unforgettable time. We will have a beautiful day with native animals of the sierra and jungle area. We will see in their houses: monkeys, macaws, turtles, deer, deer cats, alpacas, bears, wild cats, foxes, condors among others. The purpose is to help and learn about our mission, which is t o educate, so we invite schools and the public in general to teach children to respect our nature and animals. Our goal is the free some of them to their natural habitats. The connection with animals is an unforgettable experience. After the tour, the participants will have free time because it is a tour only for the participants and we will take them back to their accommodation or to the main square of Cusco is flexible. We will take a cultural walk around the Palenqe of Benkos, off the beaten path, where you will be immersed in the Africa hidden in Colombia. We named it Black Legacy Experience, because it is definitely an essential place for our black history in Colombia. This town hosts a sort of spin off of Cartagena's history in timeline. What you'll do The first step will be to show you the ingredients that you can find in all Oaxacan homes, one of the advantages of our experience is that we have a garden with herbs and organic chilis. Baldo my son will share his knowledge in mezcal. We have an extend variety of agaves and homemade creations that you need to try. An open bar of mezcal is waiting for you. Snacks? Of course but you need to do Oaxacan style which includes worms, chicatanas and chapulines. Fist course we will offer chileajo tostadas and fruit water. Have you heard anything about the metate and how tortillas are made by hand? Here we will show you how to make tortillas, tetelas and memelitas. One of my specialties is salsas made in a molcajete, we will roast the ingredients over charcoal and comal. In every class we make 4 to 6 salsas depending seasonal ingredients. The mole is the emblem of our cuisine and we will make one of the 7 moles from scratch using a metate, you can’t leave our home without tasting our mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves and a delicious cake. Everyone will participate in the different processes, cutting ingredients from the garden, making sauces and of course eating. Colombia is known as the coffee country, well, we got much more history linked to the “green gold”. Emeralds are part of the selected group of precious stones and the 60% of them in the world are originally from Colombia. Become part of the Emerald legend, by creating a ring with your own hands. This tour starts by having an introduction about the importance of emeralds for precolonial and colonial culture. We will go through the emerald and jewelry district to learn about the history of the precious metals and stones and its influence in Colombian culture. We will take a look at the emerald market to see the different minerals and qualities. Then we will work on your new ring, where you will decide all! the design, the stone and material, by the personal advisory of a orfebre (jewelry master) who teaches you how to do every single step.

My friend Cesar will drive you in his private vehicle, from the meeting point in the downtown area (CP 6800), to the village of Arrazola. It will take around 30 minutes to get to Armando's gallery where we will have the experience. In Arrazola, you will meet me, my wife Antonia and our son Alejandro at our workshop to show you the entire creation process of our amazing art: from carving the wood; making natural colors out of local fruits, insects and minerals to painting the figures in the traditional design with acrylic paint. Cesar will translate into English if needed. Now the fun part starts. Time to get creative. You will choose a small plain wooden animal figure to paint yourself which could take up to two hours. Monteverde in Costa Rica is one of the best destinations for Birdwatching around different birds habitats. I was raised in Monteverde where I have been living all my life listening all the different bird calls all the time, that I can recognize 99% of them. My 31 years experience made me very exigent to use different birdwatching places, depending the season or weather conditions to see as many birds as possible. We'll start birdwatching at 6:00 AM, where we'll see about 30 different species of birds at an elevation of about 4,500 feet above sea level. Then we'll stop at the cafeteria for a quick Costa Rican coffee. After that, we'll move up to Curicancha Reserve where we'll walk through two different life zones including different types of forests (secondary, transitional and primary) plus open areas where we'll be able to see much more variety of birds or Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve to be at a different elevation—about 5,000 feet above sea level—where we'll see much more interesting birds, including the resplendent quetzal, guans, barbets, three-wattled bellbirds, tinamous, and so many others. Is good to know that if you repeat the tour, you must see other birds you didn't see the day before.. Typically we would see 60 to 70 different types of birds. Other things to note Bring binoculars, a bird book, hiking shoes, insect repellent, rain gear, and a hat.

Live a true El Yunque rainforest experience with a local. Excellent for foodies and adventure fans. We visit 2 waterfalls and the famous waterslide. TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED. Adventure to pure rainforest and learn the history of its unique flora & fauna like iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 300 year old trees. We drive to the East side of El Yunque Rainforest. Join me on this incredible rainbow mountain tour. This tour starts at 4:00 am, we will pass by your hotel in Cusco to start the tour. You will travel for 1 hour and a half until you reach our restaurant located in the town of Cusipata, where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast. The trip continues for another hour until you reach the control and parking area, where you will start the walk to Rainbow Mountain. On the way, you can enjoy the beauty of the Andes, its people, and the hundreds of llamas and alpacas that live in this place. After picking you up from your airbnb or hotel, the first step is to meet our horses, make friends with them, and learn the basic instructions to guide them along the way, remember to be one with your horse We will take you on a horseback ride through the mystical and hidden areas of the city, Inkilltambo (according to new research probably was an oracle on the inkas time), The Temple of the Moon or Temple of Fertility, places that were once inhabited by the Incas or were important religious centers, such as the Sacred Huaca of Amaru Wasi where formerly rituals were performed to mother earth. You will be surrounded by nature, beautifull views, Eucaliptus forest and if we are lucky wild animals that live freely in the area.
