In this square we will take pictures in the cathedral, the town hall and the pink house. We will continue touring green areas towards Puerto Madero, an inspiring place for great catches with the bridge of women. Continuing towards the San Telmo neighborhood, where you can taste the famous Argentine choripan. In each moment we will tell you the story behind each monument, neighborhood, customs and secrets. Your experience will be led by Afro-Argentine activists who will tell you about the Black Pride movements arising all around Argentina, and the fight to create a racially just and aware country. You'll learn about the myth of a "white Argentina" and how the community became symbolically erased while its legacy lived on in popular art: tango, lunfardo slang, Argentine rap 'payadas,' and more. We'll explore Parque Lezama, a place with a sad story of slave trading, before heading to a colonial house to talk about the history of Africa before slave trading and the cultural transference of knowledge and skills to the Americas which is coded in the old colonial buildings. We'll discuss life during colonial times and the big role played by the black community in the Independence wars of Argentina in the patio of the National Historic Museum. Through parks, streets and monuments, we invite you to travel towards the end of the 19th century and before with the first feminists and the freedom fighters. Then, with unique games, trivia and anecdotes, we will take you to explore the history of the women's movement to this day. We will go through emblematic places and see, through images, how they looked decades ago. We will share material for you to understand better each of the stories.
