Welcome to Mellomgaard! Cozy newly renovated farm cottage, located in quiet surroundings on beautiful South Kval Island. Here you live centrally, 30 minutes from the city center with a short distance to popular excursions, skiing and hiking trails. You can go skiing or the mountains from the front door, swim in the sea and take a sauna or enjoy the silence and beautiful views! In winter, the northern lights dance in the living room window and the boat traffic to and from Tromsø sails by. The house has a large outdoor terrace, good parking and close to the nearest store.

Cozy guesthouse by the gardener

The house is located by the sea and is part of the farm where we run a garden center. 9 km from Tromsø airport. The house is newly renovated in the spring of 2023. Well equipped kitchen/living room, tiled bathroom with shower, entrance with storage. Bedroom with double bed (200*150cm) on 2nd floor, we can also offer extra sleeping space in this bedroom. There is also a loft with sleeping space for 2 (200*140 cm). The house is suitable for family of 4. Hosts live just above the courtyard of their own house.

Large fully furnished house by the sea with its own beach. Access to wood-fired bathroom studio for an additional price of NOK 300,- as well as a jacuzzi for an additional fee of NOK 300,-, per day, conservatory. 4 large bedrooms with double beds, sleeps 8 persons. Possible to baby bed on request. 15 min with car into Tromsø city center. Close to ski resorts, ski slopes and shop. Fantastic outdoor area with midnight sun in summer and northern lights in winter. Space for more cars in the driveway. Good internet.

Large newly built modern cabin

Brand new and spacious cabin where you can go straight out in nature by ski or on foot and enjoy the silence. Modern and well-equipped cottage only 20 min by car from Tromsø airport. Cook yourself in the kitchen that is well equipped with a hob, oven, combination oven and dishwasher. Great hiking terrain in both summer and winter. In the living room you can enjoy a view of Tromsøya, the mainland and Malangen. There is wireless internet available and large TV with lots of channels for lazy evenings.

A place you can relax - be alone - chasing Aurora from outside or inside. You can hire the hot tub for NOK 3500 - and have a beautiful view! This is a unique place only 20 minutes from airport (22 km). You have everything you need for a pleasant stay. You can be up to 5 persons sleeping there. Easy to hire car and find the place. The host will meet you if you want, so you will be safe and sure! It is 1 double and 1 single bed room downstairs. 1 double upstairs. wc/washma/shower/sauna in 1 bath

Cozy modern cottage with great northern light view

Beautiful modern cottage with a spectacular view from the livingroom. Very good location to see the lights from the window or the garden, as you can see in the pictures. Sometimes even the northern lights guides stops by our cabin because it a good place to se the lights. The drive from the airport is 22 km. The kitchen is modern with everything you should need. We have a big bathroom with shower, toilet and a hot sauna. 3 bedrooms for 6 people. Please read and follow the house rules

Falling asleep to singing waves.

The one room flat/studio has its own entrance. Our home is situated close to the sea, peaceful and spacious, about 12 km outside the city of Tromsø, with little sound and light pollution, giving the aurora borealis optimal conditions to be enjoyed. We share with you according to the season: our bicycles, kajaks, a rowboat with some fishing equipment, snowshoes, as well as our sauna and tabletennis room. We are happy to share information about mountaintrips and other places worth visiting.

House by the sea near Tromsø with panorama views

We love our house! It's on the most amazing location right by the sea with a view over beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature, and if you are lucky you'll see wild life like reindeers, otters, moose and whales and you can also see Northern Lights from the house. We built the house in 2018 and moved in right away. The house is modern, well equipped and it has a fantastic panorama sauna only a few meters from the sea. The place is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

Perfect apartment for larger groups and family

The apartment is a part of a semi detached house, and rooms up to 12 people. Perfect for family vacations and larger groups. Very spacious with own porch and a lovely view over Tromsø. The bus terminal is 1 km. away, and a small shuttle bus serves the area during peek hours. There is free parking with room for several cars. We recommend renting a car. The house is close to a flood-lit track for hiking enthusiasts. It has a sauna which guests are welcome to use.

I denne flotte leiligheten bor du veldig sentralt. Du kan gå inn til sentrum av Tromsø på 10 minutter. Leiligheten har en vakker utsikt over Tromsø by og over til fjellene i Tromsdalen. Det er enkelt å ta seg til de forskjellige stedene i Tromsø by med bussforbindelser som du bruker 5 minutter å gå til. Det er mange gode restauranter i nærheten. Det er 15 minutt gange til badstue du kan leie i sentrum. Du har også en døgnåpen bensinstasjon rett utenfor bygget.
