Warm holiday idyll in the Thuringian Forest

My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau,directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. The mountain lake Ratscher is only a few minutes away by bike. The Goethe city of Ilmenau,the state capital Erfurt or the Vestadt Coburg in adjacent Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

I offer a 3 bedroom apartment, consisting of bedroom with wardrobe and TV, fully equipped kitchen, nice living area with sofa bed and large TV as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Accessible access, green courtyard with seating and barbecue as well as parking for the car. Storage facilities for strollers, bicycles or skis available. Baker opposite, butcher about 100 m away. Guesthouse on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guesthouse is located in the middle of our mini farm, which my husband and I run hobby. The lock courtyard is idyllically located on a small river where you can cool off your feet on hot days. The house can accommodate 4 people (2 adults/ 2 children). On request we also have a cot for the very little ones. The yard offers space to romp and relax.
