Breathtaking views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. There is a lot of eagles, especially sea eagles, but also golden eagles. Follow us on insta on Birdbox Sotra If you want to rent a kayak, we recommend northernexposure.

Welcome to this cozy holiday home in a unique location right by the fjord. Car road all the way to the door. The shoreline offers swimming opportunities and Åkrafjord offers good fishing opportunities. The house is located in a wild and magnificent natural area with fjords and mountains. Here are good opportunities for some nice walks in the great surroundings. Grocery store about 200 meters away. Gasoline and diesel are also sold here. The cabin has wireless internet and cromecast for TV.

Above the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå or to visit the local climbing park "Klatreparken Høyt og Lavt Nedstrand". It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
