Enchanting Apartment in the Soul of the Historic District

This upstairs apartment is reached through entrance into the original home's front hallway. The hallway is shared by both apartments. At the end of the hallway are the secure double doors that lead to your private second floor apartment. The stairs lead into a comfortable, spacious and sophisticated living area open to a small kitchen with marble countertops and new appliances. The apartment has 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has two queen beds and a fireplace. The large windows and elegant blue ceiling give this room a calming ambience. Next door there's a marbled floor bathroom with 1920s patina clawfoot tub to soak or shower. This lovely bathroom is perfect for primping at the large vanity and vintage stool. Room No. 2 has twin beds and an exposed brick wall to ceiling fireplace, bringing warmth into this welcoming room for two. Both of these rooms have access to the enclosed porch that travels the length of the building with a bench to sit and relax. Take the back door down to the garden but be careful on the outdoor stairway. To the left side of the staircase you will find a room to gather in with a galley kitchen featuring a full size fridge, retro apartment stove, dishwasher, and open shelving nestled on the exposed brick original to the home. There's bar seating around an industrial island, perfect for entertaining as the kitchen opens into a comfortable den with another fireplace. On the opposite end of the house through the french doors you'll find the largest and most elegant bedroom in the house. A king bed with a velvet settee at the foot, facing a fireplace. This room boasts storage for a long stay in the chifforobe and a lovely vanity. Glass doors open up onto a sleeping porch overlooking Society st. perfect for afternoon naps or enjoying Charleston's breezy evenings and the smell of magnolias. You'll find everything you need to relax and feel at home. Ruby Bell's apartment has been thoughtfully furnished with eclectic vintage pieces, funky artwork, and a collective of plants in neat pots throughout this home adding to this perfect Charleston getaway. Entire Upstairs apartment is accessible, including private porch. Hallway and main entrance is shared with downstairs guests. if you run into any issues with the house, don’t hesitate to call between 10 am -4pm for emergencies please call any time The apartment occupies a brick house dating from 1882 in downtown Charleston. A mix of upscale shopping and laid-back restaurants pepper the immediate area. Peruse artworks at the Gibbes Museum of Art or see a show at the historic Dock Street theatre. There's street parking all throughout Charleston, two parking lots close to the house, one half a block up called the George st lot and one a block over on Wentworth called the Wentworth st garage. Our meters have to be fed through 10pm, but cards are taken at most meters so you don't have to depend on change. Uber rides are available throughout the city as well as bike taxis and bicycle rental companies. This is a upstairs apartment, and I ask that guest respectfully note the apartment downstairs... in regards to noise levels and late night activity !

Feel weightless lying in a hammock on the front porch enveloped in lush greenery. From its reliable wood floors and restored fireplaces to its country decor and calm colors, every room of this stately home is brimming with southern charm and elegance. Guests staying in the Flowertown Suite will feel at home when entering this suite. The suite provides guests with a living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The full bathroom has its own private nook off of the living room. This nook is a private space off the living room; however, it does not have a door. Your suite is located on the ground level of the main house. You have a private entrance into your suite, with no shared spaces - it's all yours! Once you enter your suite, you'll see your own private sitting room, complete with a 50 inch LED TV, 2 extremely comfortable couches and and a small writing / working desk. The doorway ahead will take you to a huge bedroom with 15 foot ceilings. Your bedroom has a King size bed consisting of a coil wrapped spring core and a gel infused memory foam for the ultimate sleeping experience. In addition, you have a 50 inch LED TV (cable), wardrobe cabinet and a kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a small fridge, toaster, microwave, and Keurig Brewer with assorted K-Cups. Just before you reach the bedroom, on your left is a private bathroom that includes; cast iron claw foot tub/shower combo, and a double vanity. Included in your stay are the following amenities; plush bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover wipes, and a hair dryer. Shared outdoor spaces include a classic large southern front porch with 2 sitting areas. We're always available by phone, text or email. Our family loves to travel - so depending on our schedule you may communicate with us, or our property manager (Innkeeper) Lauren - who is super friendly and works to ensure all of your travel expectations are surpassed! The suite is one block from the shops, restaurants, parks, and cafes of Main Street in historic downtown Summerville. There's also a nearby shopping center with movie theatres. Charming 2 Bdrm/3 bath Cottage by Marion Square

Wake up refreshed in the carved four-poster and curl up on the tan leather couch under the skylights in this charming brick house built in 1802. Gather for a leisurely breakfast in the morning, or cocktails in the afternoon in the illuminated, landscaped courtyard. #BL005522012017 Not recommended for children. This entire home was renovated in 2017. This charming cottage has sleeping for six. The first floor has a queen sleeper sofa in the living room plus a full bath off of the living room. The second floor has two bedrooms - one king bed with private bath and one queen bed with private bath. The bedrooms and the living room have new flat screen TVs. Hardwood flooring and tile throughout. New stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen. Linens are Eqyptian cotton and the towels are plush! The guest cottage is very comfortable and clean! There is a private lighted, landscaped courtyard with a table and chairs and a Charleston bench. Guests have access to the entire house and a private, landscaped and lighted courtyard with table and chairs. There is on-site parking for 2 cars. I do not live on the property, but am available if needed. The property is around 300 feet from King Street, the major shopping and dining center in the heart of downtown Charleston. The property is located near the intersection of King and Calhoun Streets. Marion Square, Gaillard Center, and other activities are within easy reach. This location is in the center of the downtown activity with great access to shops and restaurants on foot. DASH is a free shuttle service for the Historic Peninsula area of the City of Charleston. One of the trolley stops is 1/2 block away.

The Boathouse

We call it the Boathouse, but it could just as easily be called the treehouse. It sits just feet from a tidal creek amidst giant live oak trees. A short dock is right outside the door, so bring your kayaks or other small craft. Although cozy, it offers everything a simple cottage should. Shem Creek is minutes away, as are the beaches. Patriot's Point and the Ravenel Bridge are a short walk away. This is the closest residential neighborhood to Charleston that you will find in Mt Pleasant.

2 bed 2 bath, 2 stories,1 bedroom on each floor, featuring a newly renovated kitchen, lots of outdoor porch space with great views, a fenced in double lot back yard. We live in the apartment on the backside of the property so if you need anything during your stay just let us know!
