When driving along the route #2, on your way to the west coast, pay close attention as this landmark can be easy to pass by. This monumental rock carving alongside the highway on the west coast of the island welcomes visitors to Isabela. The face depicts the Cacique Mabodamaca, a Taino leader who protected his people from the Spaniards. Nearby, the Porta del Sol beach awaits.
