Best known for Heirloom apples and their hard cider. Pick apples and visit their farm store. Just outside of downtown Brattleboro
Scott Farm is the quintessential Vermont orchard experience. Nestled in the countryside of Dummerston, this collection of white farm buildings, sprawling Orchards, and farm houses is breathtakingly beautiful. Check the website for Fall hours, and plan for a little extra time to wander the land and see the dry-stacked stone walls created by the students of The Stone Trust, a non-profit in site that teaches the art of building stone walls without mortar.

Apple picking, gorgeous farm, site for Stone Trust, where you can see many beautiful examples of uniquely crafted dry stone walls. Stone Trust, located on the property, is also a widely respected center for teaching dry stone walling. We are 1.25 miles from Scott Farm, close enough to walk via dirt road, past Rudyard Kipling's historical former Naulakha home.

Another beautiful orchard located between here and Brattleboro Vermont. This orchard is a bit smaller than Green Mountain Orchard, but both are wonderful.
Massive historic (1700's) apple orchard right next to Rudyard Kipling's house. You pick or buy fresh heirloom varieties that can not be found anywhere else on earth. Scott Farm also grows gooseberries, medlars, quince, blueberries, grapes, pears, plums, peaches, cherries, apricots, currants, ginger, hops and paw paws.
