25 minutes by car. Chichester is a lovely city and the Cathedral is worth a visit as is also the Chichester Festival Theatre. You'll find high quality clothes and food shops along with numerous brand cafe's near the cross which is central to the four streets
This historic Georgian City has plenty of independent shops due to the nature of georgian architecture - small premises. Chichester, was originally the first Roman Settlement in the UK - from here all roads head North, South, East and West! There are plenty of Roman artefacts to see at The Novium Museum, and at Fishbourne Palace and in the very heart of this City. Walk around the City Walls (45 mins) get a good view of the City, the Cathedral, Bishops Gardens and the City's parks. - Visit one of the best art galleries in the South - Pallant House. - Enjoy the many top performance shows on at The Chichester Festival Theatre. There's great shopping, restaurants, cafes and plenty of parking.
