Lovely beach

Lovely, safe, sandy beaches
It's a beautiful National Trust beach with a good cafe in the carpark. You can pick up the coastal path in either direction. I particularly like the walk north to Llangranog, another cute coastal village with a couple of good pubs and nice beach.

Sightseeing

Picturesque coastal village with lovely old breakwater, sandy beaches, boat trips, and one of the two biggest pods of dolphins and harbour porpoises in the UK. you can often spot them from the shore or take a dolphin boat trip. Good place to launch a dinghy. Cardigan Bay Water Sports Centre is here for instruction and hire.

City/town information

Cardigan is quirky with a restored castle, two excellent theatres, some interesting shops, cafes, wholefood shop Go Mango and organic bakery. Eat and drink by the Teifi, visit the beaches very close by: Poppit Sands and Mwnt in particular. St Dogmaels with its abbey is well worth a visit on the way to Poppit Sands.

A charming place with its coloured houses and harbour, pubs and cafes. Stony beach here. To the south are all sandy beaches, to the north more stony until you get to Borth.
