Unforgettable warm places to travel time There was such a special place to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and be embraced by the original scenery of Japan.The fire in the fireplace makes a sound, and the hot water in the Goemon bath dissolves the mind and body.The rice cooked in Kamado reminds you of the original sweetness and fragrance of the rice you forgot.The fire of the wood stove warmly enveloped us and the travelers so that we could speak quietly. Kazuya's place is more than an accommodation.It's a warm and memorable experience that goes beyond time.A space that combines contemporary comfort while preserving the charm of an old house gives you the illusion that you have traveled back in time.The deep love for buildings, decor, and art comes to life in every detail. And above all, the warm hospitality of our host, Kazuya.It was a trip with a special companion, so I don't have a garden here, but it was a surprise and thoughtful that it would make a special appearance.The warmth of it was also healed by the fatigue of the trip. My family of 8 enjoyed the place tremendously (both elderly and kids). The house was clean, had a separate dining area for BBQ and hot pot. Kitchen was well equipped with two big sinks and several faucets so it made preparation and cleaning for dinner much faster. The place had 2 toilets + 1 urinal indoors and also 1 toilet outside at the separate dining area. 1 full bathroom indoors with bathtub and shower then 1 shower that outdoors - which was a bit too cold to use, so if they had another shower indoors it would’ve been perfect!! There’s a huge area outdoors that you can enjoy but sadly we were only here one night so couldn’t maximise the use of space. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Awaji! Thank you so much for such a warm house to stay in!

We just stayed again with our dogs. The staff is so friendly and the rooms are clean, spacious and well-designed. We will definitely stay again!

We loved Toshiro place for our launching pad for the seto island sea islands including naoshima and teshima. Super easy to get to the port from our airbnb stay. The home was clean and tidy and had everything you could need. Toshiro provided recommendations on what to do and even had cycles available. Would definitely recommend. 🤩

Alan and Reiko went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ease certain travel pains. We were celebrating a birthday and they were kind of enough to arrange a cake from the mainland, they helped us locate a camera left on the ferry, they facilitated a bike rental, they gave us rides when we needed them, the list goes on. We were lucky enough to eat at their newly opened restaurant, and had the most incredible meal - probably the best we have eaten in Japan thus far! This is to say nothing of their lovely property, which is sublime. We stayed in the queen villa and were able to look out at the beautiful garden foregrounding the sea and sky. The historic buildings were breathtaking, with modern touches to ensure our comfort. I especially enjoyed the espresso machine in the mornings! I look forward to someday returning to this incredibly beautiful and peaceful spot, thank you Alan and Reiko for a memorable family birthday weekend!

The host provided welcome snacks, beer, and full of ice cream, and the door lock breakdown was immediately repaired during your stay. It is very close to Takamatsu Port and easy to take a boat to Naoshima or Shodoshima. Parking is clean, the room is clean, friendly, and I will want to stay next time!Highly recommend to all

The guest house was very clean and clean.The floor plan was easy to use, and the children quickly got used to it and used it like home. The host explained things politely, and the check-in and checkout times were flexible, which was really helpful. I would definitely use it again if I have the opportunity.Thank you!
