Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Matsumoto

We had a wonderful stay here for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The place was cozy, warm, and very welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and tons of activities to do, especially up in the mountains. The rooms are spacious, and the heaters kept us warm throughout the night. It’s a smart home, and all the technology worked smoothly and was very responsive. I’m definitely coming back and will be booking this place again! A special thank you to the host—he went above and beyond with his recommendations, from great restaurants to local activities. He even helped us find the best places to rent ski equipment at great prices. I didn’t even need to take photos of the house because the ones on Google were spot on—what you see is exactly what you get. Plus, the price is very reasonable. Thank you so much for having us!

Die Wohnung besteht aus drei Zimmern, die man mit Schiebetüren voneinander trennen kann. Es gibt einen verbindenden Gang, dort befindet sich auch das Waschbecken. Zimmer gibt es zudem eine Mikrowelle, sowie Geschirr und Besteck. Als wir da waren, gab es kein Frühstück im angrenzenden Café, dafür Brot, Joghurt und Kaffee im Zimmer. Man kann das fantastische, darunter liegende Badehaus kostenfrei nutzen, zudem außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten eine Dusche (das haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen). Insgesamt eine sehr praktische Wohnung für Familien, gut gelegen und ruhig von sehr netten Betreibern.

Nous avons passé deux nuits parfaites en famille dans cette magnifique maison traditionnelle. L’espace est très grand, chaleureux et parfaitement équipé — il ne manquait absolument rien. Tout était bien pensé et les instructions dans la maison étaient claires et précises. La maison est située dans un quartier très charmant, calme, loin de l’agitation du centre, et à seulement deux minutes à pied de la ruelle historique de Nakamachi, l’un des plus beaux coins de Matsumoto. Un lieu authentique, confortable et idéalement placé. Merci pour cette belle expérience !

リビングは薪ストーブがありとても暖かく快適でした。客室は寒かったですが、ストーブや湯たんぽを用意してくださり、暖かく休むことができました。 お風呂は1つのみですが近くに温泉施設がいくつかあるので何も問題はありませんでした。 大人数での滞在でしたがひろびろと過ごすことができとても良かったです。 ホストの方がとても親切でメッセージへもすぐに返信していただけたため安心して宿泊することができました。 ぜひまた利用させていただきたいです。

בית מקסים, בנוי היטב, בשכונה מתוקה, קרובה ליער מקסים. נהננו מהבית מאוד, ישבנו ליד האח כשירד שלג בחוץ וזה היה קסום. תודה על האירוח!

Very homely place. Kitchen was perfect for light cooking like poached eggs.

We really enjoyed our stay with Miwa. Her son was responsive to messages, especially useful when we organised to have our bags forwarded and to change our plans slightly due to bad weather. When we arrived, Miwa gave us a warm welcome and took us on a a tour of the place. It was spotless clean and has a nice warm shower. As described, it is a traditional home, so perfect if you want to experience sleeping on a futon atop tatami mats. We visited the area to walk the Nakasendo Trail but on this particular day the weather was very wet and so we decided to rest for the day instead. The village on a Sunday is very quiet and many of the restaurants shut up shop early. Given the situation, Miwa took pity on us and brought us some lovely baked goods. We were made to feel very welcome and would recommend a stay here for anyone visiting the area.

Excellent accomodation, felt very homely. Exceptional amenities and the access to vehicle provided was a huge plus. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend and very worth the value. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Japan.

We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

A very clean, tidy, well organised and comfortable accommodation. Walking distance to McDonalds, shops, supermarkets and the Takayama train station. The host was super helpful and responsive. There’s a washing machine and dryer as well, which is a bonus! Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Takayama.

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay in this Airbnb. Shuji and Sachi were great hosts, extremely responsive and helpful. All the amenities were accurately provided as per the listing. This apartment is also conveniently located - just a few minutes walk from the station. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Die Unterkunft war toll. Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Sie ist sehr geräumig und hat alles, was man braucht. Auch die Nähe zum Stadkern und zum Bahnhof war sehr toll. Außerdem war es sehr Babyfreundlich. Wir sind mit unserem 9 Monate alten Sohn gereist und es gab einen Babysitz am Tisch, einen Windelmülleimer und auch extra Handtücher für den Kleinen - das kriegen die meisten Hotels und Unterkünfte nicht auf die Reihe. Sollten wir je nach Takayama zurückkehren kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder in diese Unterkunft.

The place was spacious and comfortable. Convenient location near the train/bus stop. Lots of amenities offered & the kitchen was stocked well with simple seasonings. Thefe is an induction stove, microwave, rice cooker, and even a mini toaster oven - makes cooking at home a viable option. Syuji and Sachi were also responsive to queries, and also provide recommendations and updates during our stay. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and will definitely come back and stay if we visit Takayama again, or recommend this place to friends and family.

Justin place was well equipped with all of the needs that would helps you have a great stay. From cooking utensils to oil, salt and pepper to netflix. Having towels and soap is something i would always expect at most accommodation but cooking your own meal made my stay nice and a break from restaurant food. I would highly recommend staying.

2度目の滞在でした。今回も本当に素晴らしい時間を過ごせました！ 今回は桜の時期に合わせて両親を連れて伺いました。敷地内には満開の桜が咲き誇り、プライベートな空間でのお花見は格別でした。前回は夏の終わりに訪れたのですが、四季折々の景色が楽しめるのもこの場所の大きな魅力だと思います。 広々とした空間を貸切で利用でき、他のゲストと顔を合わせることもなく、静かで本当にリラックスできる環境です。 サウナは使い方も簡単で、水風呂やリラックススペースが川沿いに設けられており、自然と桜に囲まれながらゆったりとととのう時間を楽しめました。露天風呂では、鳥のさえずりや川の音を聞きながら、癒しのひとときを過ごすことができました。 バーベキュースペースには屋根があるので天候を気にせず楽しめますし、道具も全て揃っていてとてもスムーズ。アメニティも非常に充実していて、ダイソンのドライヤーやコテ、美味しい紅茶やコーヒーまで…まるで高級ホテルのような贅沢さです。 Switchやカードゲーム、カラオケなどもあり、家族みんなで楽しめました。時間が許せば延泊したいくらい、本当に最高の滞在でした。 また必ず伺います。ありがとうございました！

We had a wonderful stay at Koichi’s place. A living room facing forest and all the setting was beautiful. A perfect get away from a city. Koichi was friendly and kind in every way.

Nataria’s place is beautiful and clean. The lodge looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The airbnb is located in a very quiet and beautiful forest. Tourist attractions are easily reachable as well which made this the perfect place to stay. Nataria was very welcoming and flexible. We would definitely stay there again!

会社の仲間たち11名で宿泊し、素晴らしい体験ができました。 事前のやり取りでのレスポンスもとても早く、軽井沢の相場から考えるととても安かったように思います。 水回りや寝室、寝具などもとても清潔で、機会があればぜひまた利用させていただきたいです。 薪ストーブも普段はできない体験でメンバーみんなが喜んでいました。

ウェルカムドリンクや、羊羹などおもてなしがたくさんあり嬉しかったです。 清潔感があり、インテリアも全ておしゃれで、お庭の空間も非日常気分を味わえました。ホストさんともすぐに連絡がとれ、安心して過ごすことができました。サウナも最高でした！

Truly pet- friendly hotel, lots of pets supplies prepared in the living room which is so sweet and relived. The house is so clean and well-equipped, we can find basically everything in the house. The view is also gorgeous, having breakfast at terrace was an enjoyable experience. Great space for vacation and relaxing with family and group of friends.
