The wood stove is warm and you can see the beautiful sunrise from the large window. The hot springs were also great!

We appreciated having all the tools, dishes, etc. we needed for the barbecue. It was a beautiful and spacious room. I was able to spend very comfortably.

One of the best AirBnB’s we’ve stayed in! It really was a home away from home. Plenty of room for 5 of us, meticulously clean and nicely appointed. Comfy furniture, coffee machine, fantastic water pressure for showers, Netflix and PlayStation for kids and little personal touches here and there made it feel like home rather than a rental. Hiroko was extremely welcoming, took us grocery shopping on our first day and drove us to ski fields every day and went over and above to make our stay very comfortable. Thanks Pete and Hiroko for opening up your lovely home to us.

There are amenities and there is a supermarket nearby, so it was a very good place to stay!

We were 2 families of 3 adults and 4 kids and had 10 days at the house for fab skiing in mid Feb. despite the amazing dump of snow the driveway was very well cleared when we arrived. easy check in as we arrived late at night. 4 bedrooms, with one tatami room downstairs and others upstairs. Note that there are two bathrooms but only one with shower/bath, the upstairs one is a toilet and sink only so required more scheduling after long day of skiing. kitchen was well.stocked with oven, kettle,.rice cooker and manageable for simple home cooking. the outdoor bath and sauna were thr ultimate treat for tired bodies after skiing and really worth it. House is in good condition but a bit older but heard they may update. note that the fireplace can't be used due to regulations on safety in Japan but house was always warm despite very low temps. A great place for a group and the kids loved it. Boot room/entry is small but adequate for skis and boots. Overall a great option for our group

My family stayed at this hotel in autumn, and we had a wonderful experience. The house was very comfortable, and the bath was clean. We also appreciated the complimentary apple juice, which was a nice touch. Additionally, we thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ facilities. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely return.

What an I say, our experience at Mio & Kivanc’s place was magical to say the least. The home was warm and welcoming, spotless and uncluttered. They were very friendly and sent us suggestions on things to do and stuff to see. It is incredibly hard to get a taxi so Kivanc offered to drive us to the bus terminal at 6:40am on the day of departure… that should tell you all you need to know about these amazing hosts. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, cozy and inviting home to enjoy all the splendour that the Hakuba valley has to offer. I again want to thank the hosts for making our time there so special. Things I wasn’t sure about: 1. You do have the entire house to yourself (might of just been my brain but I wasn’t 100% sure). 2. You’ll need to be very dialled with the shuttle services, or you’ll need a car. You are within walking distance of a 7/11 (iykyk) which was clutch.

We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

David is a wonderful host, always ready to jump in and help out. The location is perfect for snow sports and is close to several equipment rental spots and restaurants. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

The house was beautifully spacious, clean and toasty warm! Super close to the train station/ bus shuttles and supermarket. The house itself had everything you need! Pete was extremely great at communicating and helping us with the best local places to eat and organising transport. If I come back to Hakuba I’ll definitely be booking this place! 10/10

This was an awesome spot, right in the center of Echoland. It was easy to find and was right on the main road where ski shuttles stop every morning and afternoon. The place was very clean and had everything we could need. We would definitely stay again! One thing to note; this unit is situated above a bar that closes late and it can be loud. If you plan to be out late in the evenings or are a heavy sleeper this may not be an issue for you.

The apartment was much nicer than what the pictures showed. A very nice place to stay for someone looking for a relaxing accommodation after a strenuous day or long drive.

Highly recommend this place. It's a great location, lovely setting in the woods, we were there in winter and with the snow its incredibly beautiful and also walkable to the gondala or chair lift. This Airbnb is a seperate apartment attached to the Mojo lodge, so you get all that's listed, 2 bedrooms + living room/kitchen/bathroom etc etc but also in Winter season you can use the communal area of the lodge as well which is great, plus you get an excellent cooked breakfast and a morning lift to the gondala. Plus all the staff at the lodge are super friendly and very approachable for advise on the area whether that's where to eat or the best onsen or other local knowledge. We really felt welcomed and at home for the whole week we were here and we'd definitely stay again.

Takeo was very responsive and accommodating. There are clear instructions for everything and appreciate the diligence to respond to questions.

This place is great, it is walkable to Happo One gondola but private and secluded. We had a wonderful time.

Really appreciated Takeo's fast response. We had a horrible experience with our previous booking and had to do an immediate switch on the same day. He totally saved our day and his accommodation was the kids' favourite of the week. We are all so thankful and happy. Everything was spick and span and amenities was great.

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.

I can’t hype this place up enough. Perfect homey hideaway, right next to sakka slopes!! After a recommendation of rental gear (5 minutes away) we just needed to gear up and cross the road to the ski lifts. Its such a flex to be able to just walk back across the road to a warm and homey villa. We can’t thank Yasue and her partner enough. We will be back!! Would love to hike this area in spring. It was purely magical in winter, and was lucky enough to see some snow monkeys too!! We loved Hakuba. Hopefully we can come when there are less tourists as they can be quite disrespectful. We hope we have made a good impression for you!! Thank you very much and can’t wait to be back!!

"A Perfect Getaway!" We had an amazing stay at this charming cabin! The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and offering complete peace and tranquility. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to a comfy bed and a warm fireplace that made the evenings even more special. The hosts were very responsive and accomodating. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape in nature! We'll definitely be back! --- Feel free to adapt it based on specific details of the cabin!
