Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Islamorada

Great accommodations, quiet location. Definitely look to stay there next time we are there.

Nous étions un groupe de six et la maison était parfaite pour nous accueillir. Nous avons apprécié le fait que la maison était bien équipée pour la plage (chaise, glacière, parasol, jeux, etc. ) et nous avons adoré les vélos mis à notre disposition. Mon garçon a pêché dans le canal, nous y avons vu des pélicans et des manatees. Nous avons bien mangé dans les restos aux alentours et nous sommes allés visiter l’hôpital des tortues. Jeffrey a été un hôte proactif, à l’écoute et aidant.

We rented Ryan’s home during the week of our wedding in Key West — much more reasonably priced than KW, and only about an hour away. Home is clean, modern, well appointed. Heated pool and hot tub were a big hit with our family, especially kids (worth the extra charge). The pool was dirty when we arrived so when Ryan saw pics he deemed it unacceptable and sent a cleaner out to address it right away — he had a delicious key lime pie delivered for the inconvenience, which was a sweet gesture. It was good to have 2 wings to separate the bedrooms (main plus queen both with private baths on one end). We had 10 people in the home (including 4 kids) and had ample space. Helpful to have chairs and cooler for beach (umbrella didn’t hold up to windy day) — Sombrero beach while crowded was nice. Lighting outside to enjoy outdoors at night could be better, but awning to shade the chairs from sun during day is a great feature. Bring a Bluetooth speaker for music. We’d come back! Thanks, Ryan!

Incredible property. Perfect gathering space for my entire family of 6. Private yet close to commerce like Publix and local gym to work out. Great memories made.

The house was just as described. Loved having meals on the screened in porch each morning while watching the boats and wildlife float/fly by. Very peaceful setting. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. Also the Cabana Club pool and beach was a wonderful place to relax. We enjoyed meeting other Key Colony residents/visitors at the pool and at Sunset Park. They have concerts on Sunday afternoons in the park.

We loved the private pool and tiki bar. The outdoor refrigerators were perfect to spend the day at the pool. The house was very clean with a perfect set up for our 2 families. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a 5 star stay at Isabella’s Airbnb home! We had 10 guests and all had a place to sleep, place to sit and eat if we all wanted to sit together at the dining table and plenty of room there! We loved her home and our stay there!! Isabella remembered that we were there on vacation celebrating our mom’s 80th birthday and went out of her way to buy a key lime pie and balloon to have waiting for us/my mom when we arrived! That was very thoughtful and sweet of her!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

Mary's place was in a very safe and beautiful location. Everyone was friendly and there were endless dining options. There were even local conveniences that I didn't expect nearby such as Dollar Tree, Winn Dixie, Home Depot, etc. Showers had great water pressure, hot water, and had zero sulphur smell. Decor was lovely and ample storage space for your things. A/C and heat works great and no musty smells anywhere. Beds, outdoor furniture and couches very comfortable. Convenient off-street parking. Was too busy to enjoy the cabana amenities but visited it briefly and it looked wonderful. Thank you Mary hope to return in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at the Key Colony Continental Inn. The environment and location was described accurately by Cindy, as stated there were endless amenities nearby which made the stay feel like home. The beach at the condo was nice although we discovered a nice public beach nearby named Sombrero Beach. Overall, Cindy was a great host whom responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely comeback to visit again and again.

Viel zu schnell sind die Tage bei Norma vergangen. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Norma ist eine tolle, liebe Gastgeberin, die viele Tips hat. Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage. Und alles ist so wie beschrieben. Wir sind in der Lagune geschwommen und haben Sonnenuntergänge bewundert. Es waren rundherum perfekte vier Tage, vielen Dank Norma!

Ne cherchez plus, je vous recommande fortement ce lieu !! Jennifer est une hôtesse exemplaire offrant le souci du détail et ayant le bien-être des voyageurs à coeur. Le logement était très propre, accueillant, bien disposé et très privé. Les instructions étaient très claires et bien établies. L'emplacement est parfait et près de tous les commerces en plus d'être environ à mi chemin entre les Keys et Miami. Merci Jennifer :)

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and exactly as pictured. I will say it was a bit small for four people though. Not really anything with walking distance so you definitely need a car. The use of the kayaks and paddleboards were a definite plus!

awesome place to stay in Homestead! the architecture is beautiful and the unit itself was larger than I expected from the photos. very comfortable and conveniently located. lili was kind enough to help me get into the unit, too!

This place was a great stay. The room has everything you need and the hosts are amazing.I believe a family lives below but if there wasn’t a car in the driveway we wouldn’t have even noticed. The place is super clean and very well taken care of. Had everything you need. You’re about 45 min from key west as well! We had a great time and a good stay. Would recommend for anyone trying to have a good vacation!

Ana’s place was beautiful and a delight to stay at. It was in a very convenient spot which allowed us to make pit stops at the house in between trips up and down the keys. Ana was a great host, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Stunning views, peaceful. we had stayed in this building before 7 years ago and found other vacations have never measured up to the view. This owner puts money back into his investment, furniture was comfortable, kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. This is a end unit so you really get special views! We definitely are going home with huge smile on our faces and are so distressed. On top of all that the unit was so clean!❤️

PERFECTION!!! I have so many great things to say about our stay. First, the condo was beautiful and fully stocked. It even had plenty of soap, toiletries, paper products etc to get you started. Yuni was the perfect host and answered all questions and gave clear instructions. The balcony was huge. It was enough for the family to eat and lounge all while enjoying the beach and pool views! Key Colony Beach is a charming community we walked to the sunset multiple nights. My kids aged 10,8,7 did not want to leave. The complex had very friendly retirees and a handful of families with kids. Everyone was super respectful and friendly. The pool was super clean and warm. The beach was groomed each night and the kid had plenty of room to play on the sand and hunt for shells and hermit crabs. Marathon is a great Key to stay on - close to lots of fun activities. We are already planning our next trip and we will definitely rent this condo again! It’s perfect for families!

The host were great and so proactive. They showed such great hospitality and provided a wonderful home to stay in. The apartment down stairs was so perfect for our parents. The kids loved the pools and pickle ball courts! Also, loved all the extras like the pool toys and having access to a washer and dryer. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

What a great condo! Felt right at home and has everything you need! Diane was very excellent with communication & details of what we would need. Would highly recommend staying here. Snappers restaurant is a great spot for lunch or dinner!

The first half of our stay went extremely well and there was plenty of space to park our boat. I would definitely stay again.

Great place just a short distance off Highway 1 and just steps from a nice heated pool. The salt water slough was a big hit for the kids swimming with the fish and the sunrise was amazing. I would definitely book again.

Wonderful accommodations for my family! The condo was extremely clean with all the amenities we needed. Pool/ hot tub was a big hit with our kids and the location was close to everything we planned. Sean and team were extremely kind and communicative.
