Plush furnishings throughout, the home is designed and styled with luxury in mind. Elevated and bathed in natural light, Vihara is just a 1-minute drive into the centre of Mullumbimby town and only 10 minutes to the pristine beaches of Brunswick Heads
The space

Vihara is located on the first floor of this magnificent Mullumbimby home. This renovated Queenslander blends classic charm with a refined mid-century modern feel, set among lush rainforest and gardens — peaceful and tucked away from the main streets, but not too far.
A private entrance leads into the main open-plan living space, where you'll find a luxury sofa and TV with apps. The large gourmet kitchen is well equipped for all your culinary needs, with ample space around the breakfast island. The elegant dining room sits just beyond, framed by a stunning archway — a beautiful setting for a long dinner with family or friends. Tucked at the back of the dining area is a lovely reading nook.
The bathroom is a standout — featuring Italian marble throughout and a vibrant injection of colour that adds a little joy to your day. Eco-friendly toiletries provided.
BEDROOMS
Three well-sized bedrooms, each with quality linens, comfortable mattresses, ceiling fans and air conditioning.
Bedroom 1 — King with walk in wardrobe
The wardrobe can be accessed by both bedroom 1 & 2
Bedroom 2 — Queen with storage
Bedroom 3 — Lux and comfy king sofa bed or reading room.
Bedroom 3 is flexible. Please make sure you understand the below concept as it may not appeal to all groups.....
It can be accessed directly from Bedroom 2 — ideal for younger children who need to sleep close by — or separated, locked off and accessed from the outdoor space, although only via the bathroom & laundry.
Let us know whether you'd like it set up for sleeping or used as a reading and relaxation room.
Please note: Bedroom 3 has a ceiling fan but no air conditioning.
OUTSIDE
A private and expansive undercover deck opens onto a generous seating area around the outdoor fireplace — a perfect spot to enjoy morning birdsong with a coffee or evening cocktails under the stars. The private luxury pool is surrounded by nature, with sun loungers for the whole family to enjoy.
Guest access
You have full and private access to the entire top floor — three bedrooms, one bathroom, the pool and the entertainment space — with your own private entrance. The outdoor space is yours alone, surrounded by rainforest for total privacy.
Please note: the downstairs apartment and a small studio on the grounds are also separately rented. The large parking area is shared across all three.
Other things to note
This is a top floor apartment. 3 other apartments exist on the property land, but you will have full privacy during your stay to the apartment and pool, along with your own private access.
With this in mind we ask that all our guests are mindful of noise and others and ask that there is strictly no pets, smoking, extra guests or any kind of group gatherings or parties
Fire wood - You will need to provide this yourselves. There is a Coop 1 minute away and sells all you need for having a fire
Bedroom 3 - Please make sure you understand the concept of Bedroom 3 as this will not appeal to all groups.
