Peace and quiet
Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Tucked away in the countryside, mornings begin with soft light, a warm cup in hand and nothing on the agenda.
Spend your days wandering, reading or doing very little at all.
Evenings are for long dinners, relaxing by the fire and stargazing.
The space
Set on a peaceful property with sweeping sunset views, this private two-bedroom cottage is ideal for couples, wedding guests, or those seeking a quiet escape surrounded by nature.
The home features a queen bedroom and a flexible second bedroom that can be configured as either a king or two singles (please advise your preference before arrival) along with a full kitchen, coffee machine, fridge, washing machine and clothes steamer for added convenience.
Perfect for weddings, our home is just a 3-minute drive (1.9km) from Preston Manor and only 4 minutes (2.9km) from the stunning Preston Peak Winery, with Gabbinbar Homestead and other premier Toowoomba venues all reachable within 15 mins.
Guests can enjoy the outdoor firepit, deck dining area, frequent visits from kangaroos and kookaburras, reliable high-speed WiFi (80+ Mbps), and a drive-through undercover carport.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the cottage and the surrounding outdoor areas immediately around it, including the firepit and deck dining space. Please note that all fenced areas and land extending toward the shed are private and not accessible during your stay.
Your booking is for the guests listed on your reservation. Please check with us before inviting any additional visitors onto the property.
Caravans and additional accommodation setups are not permitted on the property to maintain the peaceful environment.
Other things to note
If the opportunity presents, I'd love to welcome you into the studio during your stay at the cottage. It's a beautiful way to get creative and experience a little piece of country life beyond the accommodation itself.
I offer relaxed, private pottery sessions as a complete introduction to clay, creating an experience that pairs perfectly with a quiet getaway. This can also be tailored to your personal needs and any event that you are celebrating.
For an introduction to clay, you can choose between:
• 2-hour session - $100 per person, hand building only.
• 3-hour session - $130 per person, one pinch pot and 2 hours of learning the wheel.
Everything is included: clay, glazing and kiln firing and I take care of all the finishing work after your session.
You're welcome to bring along a few drinks and some snacks to enjoy while you create. Each guest can keep up to two finished pieces. Once your pottery is ready, you're welcome to collect it or I can arrange postage for a small additional cost.
If you'd like to join a session during your stay, simply send me a message through Airbnb and I'll do my best to find a time that works for you.

I've always been drawn to spaces that feel warm and welcoming. I'd describe the cottage as exactly that. It's a peaceful retreat, where you can truly settle in and unwind. Alongside hosting, I run a pottery studio on the property where I create handmade ceramics and offer private pottery classes for guests.
