My beautiful renovated 2 bedroom apartment is across the sea and a walking/cycling path. It's 15 minutes drive to the city and near public transports and local markets. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the sunsets from the balcony. Please note THERE IS NO TV but excellent Wifi.

The space
The apartment is upstairs in a two story complex but it has its own entrance and the living/dining room is big, bright and sunny and looks out over the sea. The whole apartment is air conditioned.

The main bedroom is large, light and airy. It has a queen size bed with a walk in wardrobe. There are two big windows looking out on tree tops and at high tide you can hear the waves coming to shore.

The second bedroom is smaller but airy and bright. It has a queen size bed (futon mattress) and a wardrobe.

There is a bathroom with a separate toilet.

Guest access
The kitchen is brand new and very well appointed; you can use cooking supply like oil, salt, spices, condiments etc.. Same with the laundry: it is well appointed and you can use the detergent.

There is a swimming pool in the complex or you can walk for 15 min on a path along the sea and beaches and get to what must be the best ever located public swimming pool that has 180 degree sea view.

There is no TV but wi-fi internet access and you can watch TV programs or one of my dvds on your lap top. There is yoga equipment available for you if you are that way inclined.

The neighbourhood's greatest asset is a beautiful walking/cycling path that runs along ochre/orange/pink cliffs and white sand beaches and lush trees and bushes for kilometres. You can pick one of the many grassy spots to lay down your picnic and enjoy the sunset.

An airport taxi ride is about $25. A pleasant 8-10 minutes walk will get you to some shops, the popular Nightcliff Sunday markets and a bus stop where you can catch a bus that will take you to the city in 15-20 minutes. If you drive yourself it would take you about 10-15 minutes to get to the city. If you book a tour with any tour company they will pick you up from the apartment.

Check in and check out times are negotiable depending on the time of the previous guest's departure and next guest's arrival.

Hi! I am from Montreal and been living in Australia for 30 years, first in Sydney and now Darwin since 1995. I felt in love with the place; the tropical lifestyle suits me to a T and there a lot of amazing places to visit around here. I love cinema, reading, cycling, friends and good food.
