Enjoy a luxurious stay at this guest favourite on the Esplanade at Aldinga Beach. Steps away from beautiful beaches, cafes and restaurants and only a short drive to wineries, breweries, distilleries and award winning restaurants of McLaren Vale.

THIS is the MESA mini retreat, where guests enjoy exclusive use of the first floor, which is truly the best spot to enjoy ocean views and unforgettable sunsets.
Upstairs you'll find the master suite with a King bed and spacious ensuite, a powder room with separate toilet, open plan living and dining space with a gas fire, fully equipped kitchen and private balcony. Guests are also invited to enjoy the private rear courtyard and access to the private single garage.
The MESA del mar Mini Retreat is the perfect coastal getaway for 1 or 2 guests and is only minutes from McLaren Vale!
* Whilst you won't have access to the 3 bedrooms or bathroom on the ground floor, no other guests will be able to book these spaces during your stay.
* We are in the process of updating the photos of MESA del mar. Some still show the Ellison sofa which has been replaced by a gorgeous wasabi green King Living 1978 modular sofa.
Pets at MESA del mar - whilst we would love to welcome your pet/s at MESA, sadly our insurance policy doesn't allow for them. We highly recommend Windemere Pet Retreat in Clarendon (our 2 border collies stay there!). If you travel via Stirling and the Adelaide Hills, Windemere is on your way to MESA del mar which makes it super easy for a drop off and pick up. Thanks for understanding!
Guest access
The MESA del mar Mini Retreat offers guests exclusive use of the first floor open plan living, dining and kitchen area with stunning ocean views, the master bedroom with ensuite, plus a separate powder room. Guests also have use of the private rear courtyard and secure garage.
You will be the only guests at the property so please rest-assured that the ground floor will not be occupied by someone else during your stay.
Use of the downstairs bathroom or bedrooms will be charged accordingly, which includes (at a minimum) an additional cleaning fee of $200.
Other things to note
MESA del mar is approx. 46kms from the Adelaide Airport and 48kms from the CBD - we suggest you allow 1 hour travel time.
If travelling from interstate or overseas, we recommend that you hire a vehicle for your stay. Taxis and Ubers are scarce at Aldinga Beach and to truly explore the region, it’s best to have your own car.
