This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.

A lovingly restored beach cottage in the heart of Barwon Heads. Steps from the Barwon Heads Golf Club, a short walk to the beach, river and main street. A compact cottage that punches above its weight, sleeping up to eight across two queen bedrooms and a bunk room. Two separate bathrooms. Cosy in winter, and afternoons on the deck in summer are hard to beat.

The space
Little George is a genuine cottage: compact, comfortable, and full of charm. It sleeps eight across two queen bedrooms, a bunk room and a rumpus, with two separate bathrooms. Works best for four adults and four children, unless the adults in your group don't mind a bunk bed.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is cosy, but it fits everyone around the table and works well for a group. The kitchen is well-equipped and stocked with pantry staples. There's a fireplace for winter nights in.

Outside, the deck and BBQ overlook a large lawn and a classic Hills Hoist, good for beach towels and wetsuits after a session at Thirteenth Beach. There's also a fire pit for cooler evenings.

An external laundry has a washing machine and dryer, and there are beach bags, a Pilates Mini and yoga mat. A standard power outlet at the front of the house can top up an EV overnight.

Little George sits on a quiet residential street. The neighbours are lovely and we'd like to keep it that way. If you're planning a big gathering or a late night, this isn't the right fit. If you want somewhere to properly unwind, you're in the right place.

For families, the main street, river, playgrounds and Thirteenth Beach are all within walking distance. For golfers, the Barwon Heads Golf Club is a short walk up the hill, and 13th Beach Golf Links is a short drive away.

Barwon Heads is around 90 minutes from Melbourne and 30 minutes from Geelong.
