Step into our cottage and enjoy its delightful quirkiness. This is a unique Mallacoota property, with mudbrick interior, built with love. This is a place that reminds us of a time when life was simple.

Discover rare birds, lace monitors, koalas, possums and awesome views from the rooftop treehouse deck.

Mallacoota Inlet, beautiful beaches, Karbeethong Jetty & boat ramp all within easy reach. Come & enjoy an unforgettable break.

Bedroom 2 is a loft style accessed by ladder.

The space
You have the cottage to yourself. The cottage is situated on a 5 acre block, with two homes (we live in one of the homes). A rooftop entertainment area to enjoy the views of Lake, ocean and Gabo Island.

There is one main bedroom with very comfortable king size bed with aircon/heating. The beds are all made with lovely hotel style linen and soft and firm pillows available.

The second bedroom is actually a loft style bedroom with a double bed (access is via a ladder from the living space - not suitable for young children on their own - or at least at your own discretion).

There is also a double sofa bed in the living area that sleeps two.

Kitchen/dining and living space has aircon/heater and wood fired heater. A small amount of firewood is provided by us during winter - you can purchase excess in town. We don’t typically supply firewood in warmer months.

A simple yet functional bathroom and laundry (with washing machine).

Enough parking for a boat or trailer (not big boats over 6m).

If you love nature, love and appreciate different, relaxed and quirky things in life - you will absolutely love it here! People have come here from all around the world for the past 30 years and it does not disappoint. Kids love the rooftop deck and the loft bedroom waking up among the trees.

Just incase you haven’t picked it up from the description…. If you are looking for something fancy, high-end and new: this is not for you!
