Welcome to Casa Callala, where the charm of simpler times meets modern coastal chic. Perfectly suited for two or three couples seeking a relaxing getaway, this beachside sanctuary invites you to slow down, unwind, and bask in the beauty of Jervis Bay. Just a short stroll from the white, powdery sands of Callala Beach, Casa Callala is your home away from home for a weekend—or midweek—escape.

The space
Step through the front door, and you’re greeted by an open-plan living space that feels warm and inviting. The plush, sprawling couch in the family room practically insists you sink in, feet up, with a good book or your favourite show. The crackle of the fireplace makes everything a little cosier, no matter the season.

A few steps further in, you’ll find a spectacular dining table, fit to host a feast for 10 with ease. Adjacent to this is a sleek, fully stocked modern kitchen with everything from baking gear to a coffee and tea station. Whether you’re crafting a gourmet meal or just whipping up cocktails from our Honour Bar cocktail trolley, you’ll feel like you have it all here.

The magic of Casa Callala doesn’t stop indoors. Throw open the bi-fold doors to the backyard, and you’ll find yourself on a sun-drenched, oversized deck with ample seating for al fresco dining or simply sipping your morning coffee. Lounge on the lush lawn, soaking up the sun while the birds provide the soundtrack. If you’re in the mood for a little quiet indulgence, tuck into the reading nook for an afternoon of bliss.

When you’re ready to venture beyond the sanctuary of Casa Callala, the true magic of Callala Beach awaits. The beach is just a short, leisurely stroll away, where you can dip your toes in the crystal-clear waters, paddle out for a swim, or take in the long, uninterrupted coastline on a rejuvenating run. Keep your eyes peeled, too—you might just spot a pod of dolphins frolicking in the bay. And as night falls, don’t forget to look up; the stargazing here is out of this world.

For those with an adventurous spirit or a love of exploring, the surrounding area of Jervis Bay offers even more treasures. A short drive will take you to Currarong, where rock pools and bushwalking trails beckon, or to the bustling village of Huskisson, filled with charming cafes, boutique shops, and opportunities for whale-watching tours during the migration season. A stop at Greenfield Beach or Hyams Beach, renowned for having the whitest sand in the world (although we think Callala Beach gives it a run for its money!), is a must for any beach lover. And if food is your thing, treat yourself to fresh seafood or gourmet bites at local spots dotting the area.

Closer to home, if surf is more your thing Culburra is your place to catch some waves.

At Casa Callala, we believe weekends should be celebrated properly. That’s why your stay with us doesn’t end with a 10am rush on Sunday morning. Our all-inclusive package gives you the entire weekend—from midday Friday to sunset on Sunday. Plus, we’ve got you covered with fresh eggs, bread, milk, and a bottle of bubbles to toast your arrival. No extra fees for linen, cleaning, or late check-outs—just pure relaxation.

So, pack light. Bring your beach towels, a favourite novel, and maybe a board game or two. Casa Callala is ready to welcome you to the getaway you deserve, where the pace is slow, the views are stunning, and the beach is always calling.

Other things to note
All-inclusive package

At Casa Callala we don't believe in extra costs--apart from the Airbnb charges--we don't charge you a linen fee, cleaning fee, late check-out or early check-in fee.

So, when you book a weekend at Casa Callala, you get the whole weekend--from midday on Friday to the end of the day on Sunday (why are check-outs at 10am on a Sunday when you still have half the weekend left?)

We offer an Honour Bar cocktail trolley and a local bottle of bubbles to pop on arrival. If you wish us to provide an amenities pack (milk, eggs, bread, juice) please let us know ahead of time and we can arrange this for an extra fee).

Our fully stocked coffee station is also available for your convenience. (NB if you're big coffee drinkers or have special taste in coffee flavours it will be safer if you bring your own!).

All you need to bring is your fine selves, food and beach towels, a good book, some mags and games if you wish. (Sadly we used to provide games but we lost that many pieces and they weren't packed away properly so we made the tough choice to stop providing them, donating them to the local Vinnies for people to buy and donate back when they're down.)

Neighbourhood highlights

Callala Beach is one of the prettiest beaches in the world with its white sand and unspoilt location it rarely gets busy. Situated in Jervis Bay, Shoalhaven in the southern beaches of NSW, it is the perfect place to go to unwind and turn back time.

Callala Beach is a quintessential coastal village made up of a few streets, a Club, a pizza place, fish and chips and that's about it. And that's why we love it.

Nearby you have Myola, a riverside village with access to Huskisson (via ferry), a boatramp and great fishing.

To the other side of Callala Beach you have Callala Bay, Culburra and Currarong. Callala Beach has a few more shops and places to eat (mainly during the day) and Culburra also offers a Woollies and some places to have coffee and grab a bite.
