Self-contained, private Lodge set amongst a Camellia grove. Camellia Lodge also has an open plan living with a split system heating, heated bathroom floors, a kitchen, lounge and a comfortable King Size Bed. It also features wonderful views of the gardens from its balcony. The space has a lot of natural light.

This property will appeal to anyone who loves gardens. Set within 24 acres of historical Dennarque Estate, the gardens are regarded by many as one of the best cold climate gardens in Australia. The gardens were originally designed over 135 years ago by the then Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney director, Charles Moore. The Gardens still retain a large number of original plantings that were introduced from various countries around the world planted in the late 19th Century. There are many rare species of maples, rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas, dahlias and many old tree ferns which grace the gardens. Rarely open to the public, Dennarque Estate is now available to in-house guests.

Dennarque Estate is an important historical property located in Mount Wilson, NSW. The two level sandstone homestead, one of the original buildings in Mount Wilson, was built by Edward Merewether in 1879. The heritage gardens were originally planted by Charles Moore from the Royal Sydney Botanical Gardens. Today, the property retains many of the original plantings. Rarely open to the public, the cool climate gardens make an ideal mountain retreat. Dennarque Estate has four luxury cottages available, and sleeps 12 persons.
