A beautifully restored 1842 Barn Loft tucked into acres of gardens and vineyard, just 12km from Adelaide.

Exposed beams, white-washed walls, a claw-foot tub and vineyard views bring all the romantic country feels, while the wood fire, Smart TV and luxe linens keep things wonderfully cosy. Sink into the king bed, enjoy breakfast provisions and a bottle of Marybank wine at the foothills of the Adelaide Hills wine region.

The space
We are located 15 minutes from the city centre but once you're here it will feel like you're really in the Australian countryside. The sweet sounds of birdsongs, the sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, and the fresh air all work together to create an idyllic and serene environment.

The Barn Loft can accommodate two guests and is perfect for couples looking for a country retreat.

As a guest, you are free to wander through the rambling gardens, gathering fresh produce from the bountiful vegetable garden and flower patch, and even enjoy fresh eggs daily. However, we do have dogs on the property. If you would prefer they be kept inside, please let us know.

The property is dotted with many garden paths which you can stroll along, taking in the stunning scenery. If you are a nature lover, you will be pleased to know that the Morialta National Park is just a short distance away. Adjacent to the property is the Black Hill Conservation Park, which is perfect for a peaceful walk surrounded by nature. You will also find cherry and citrus tree farms nearby, which are well worth a visit.

Other things to note
It isn’t suitable for children beyond newborn age due to the second storey, staircases and balconies throughout the loft. Parents have shared that it can be tricky to relax with little explorers on the go here. Young babies are welcome, you’ll just need to bring any comforts for them such as a porta-cot or highchair to make your stay lovely and easy.

Marybank Estate is a small working farm and a private wedding venue, so please don’t enter locked gates or surrounding paddocks without checking with us first.

Im the 6th generation to live & manage the Marybank Estate along with my parents. Marybank has been a Fox Family tradition since 1852 and we would like guests to enjoy its serenity & beauty as a family home just as we have for so many years. I love the movies, my friends, I love sitting quietly in the garden. I love travelling but I also love to come home. I can't live without chocolate or music.
