The Azidene Spa Apartment is a thoughtfully renovated retreat, crafted in the traditional Daylesford artisan style. Featuring rough iron accents and reclaimed timber beams that frame expansive bay windows, the apartment exudes rustic charm. A highlight is the spa room, with its arch-shaped wooden ceiling and pine-clad walls, evoking the cozy intimacy of a vintage train caboose.

This unique space was brought to life by acclaimed local artisan Adrian Kosky, whose distinctive work can be found throughout the region. From the bay windows, gaze out onto the round garden, where a curved box hedge and graceful deciduous trees surround an inviting outdoor setting. Meander through the garden to discover fruit trees and peaceful nooks, all in a setting that offers seclusion while being just a short stroll from town and the lake.

Inside, the Azidene Spa Apartment is extremely spacious, offering generous living and dining areas, as well as a fully equipped kitchen—perfect for longer stays or those who enjoy the comforts of home while away. The apartment is designed as a sanctuary for relaxation, rejuvenation, and privacy.

Enjoy a luxurious, private double spa, dim the lights and let your cares melt away. The spa room is a signature feature, created to deliver a truly indulgent experience. Bamboo shutters allow the space to be closed off for solitude or opened to enjoy views of the gas log fire or the TV. Azidene House is ideally located, only two blocks from the heart of Daylesford on Vincent Street, where you’ll find exceptional cafés, bars, and boutique shopping. The apartment is also just minutes’ walk from the picturesque Daylesford Lake and foreshore, local churches, popular wedding venues such as the Lake House and the Town Hall, and the tourist information centre.

David and Deidre live on the property in the front, upper section of the house. Their living areas are not directly above the apartment, and they use a completely separate entrance and driveway. There are no shared spaces or sight lines between guest areas and host areas, ensuring privacy throughout your stay.

Interaction with your hosts is typically minimal unless you desire otherwise.
