Houseboat holiday rentals in Flanders

We (Mom, dad, and kids of 12 and 15 years) had a great stay in Tom's boat. The boat was in the city of Gent when we rented it, and we really like the city. We were right next to the tram and bus stop, so it was very easy to get around, and it was only a small 30 min walk to the center. Tom has done a great job with this boat. It is huge, so there is a lot of space, and you can really feel that Tom is an artist and has a great eye for beautiful, funny and quirky stuff, so you can spend a lot of hours just enjoying the boat. We also loved to sit outside on the patio, enjoying canal life :D As Tom also wrote to us, it is not a five star hotel, it is a home, but we also felt very much at home and just relaxed a lot. There is 3 bedrooms, so it's just perfect for us. Tom is a very nice guy, and he gave us lots of great recommendations to the local area. It is really worth listening to his suggestions, and he will gladly answer any question you may have. If you are looking for something homie and unique, I strongly recommend Toms boat (And we would love to come back in the future).

We hadden een erg leuke tijd in kajuit van Alex. De communicatie ging vlot. Van locatie lig je iets uit het centrum maar rond DOK zijn er ook enorm veel leuke plekjes om te ontbijten en dineren. Daarnaast mochten we ook twee fietsen gebruiken dus we waren overal super vlot. We hebben goed geslapen op de boot. Mijn man kon niet overal rechtstaan maar er werd dan ook meegegeven in advertentie dat je boven 1m80 hiervan wel wat last kan hebben.

Cosy et espace bien rentabilisé. Très propre et bien équipé.

echt een aanrader! uitgebreid koken en eten met 11 personen is minder handig maar wat hapjes en een ontbijtje lukt zeker. Het was proper en op wandelafstand van het centrum en de trein

Es war unsere erste Erfahrung auf einem Hausboot. Das Hausboot ist in einem Top-Zustand, die Ausstattung ist hochwertig alles ist sehr sauber. Dies ins insbesondere wichtig, weil sich das Leben auf sehr engem Raum abspielt. Ob man im Hafen liegt, an eine der Bojen rausfährt zum Schwimmen oder eines der Nachbar-Dörfer mit dem Boot besucht besucht: wir können können das Hausboot sehr empfehlen uns würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Très bon séjour, le logement est cozy et bien équipé, fidèle à la description. La petite terrasse sur l'eau et les transats face au coucher de soleil au calme avec les canards ont été très appréciés! En raison d'un précédent visiteur qui a cassé la fenêtre de la salle de bain, nous n'avons pas su faire circuler l'air de façon optimale pour rafraîchir le logement tout en longueur (qui maintient très bien la chaleur, il faisait très bon), mais un ventilateur et un air conditionné étaient présents, ils fonctionnaient parfaitement et cela ne nous a pas du tout dérangé :) De plus, nous n'avons pas été embêté par les moustiques malgré la présence de la rivière. Natacha nous a bien accueilli, merci à eux pour cette nuit reposante :)
