Holiday rentals with beach access in Costa da Caparica

João and Connie were perfect hosts. I was greeted in person. João gave very detailed instructions and fantastic recommendations. The apartment is immaculately clean and organized. Just a few feet from the beach, cafés, restaurants, bakery, market. The location is incredible and the amazing views and sound of the ocean made it feel like a dream. It was a beautiful 10 day stay while I worked remotely. I can’t wait to go back. Obrigada João and Connie.

We stayed in Costa da Caparica for over a month, from December to January, and loved every moment. The weather was mostly sunny, and the views from the apartment were incredible - mountains on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the surfers catching waves at sunset, all from the window with a glass of wine in hand, was unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home, and Gonçalo was a fantastic host. He gave us great tips on visiting places and was always there to help when we needed anything. The only thing to keep in mind is that on Friday and Sunday nights, we heard music from a nearby club. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might be a good idea. We had a great time here and would love to come back someday.

Gostamos bastante do lugar para a nossa estadia de um mês! A localização do imóvel é o seu ponto forte, bem perto da praia de Carcavelos, de restaurantes, com comércio próximo também. Os anfitriões são muito educados, simpáticos e prestativos. Recomendamos o local!

bem, primeiro começo por falar da simpatia extrema do David, foi uma pessoa super acolhedora, deu nos ótimos conselhos e esteve sempre pronto para nos ajudar, muito atencioso e prestável, em relação à casinha do David, a casinha é muito linda, é super super acolhedora, nós sentimos nos mesmo muito bem e super à vontade, tem uma vista incrivelmente linda e fica pertinho da praia, foi uma estadia maravilhosa, voltaria a repetir sem dúvida! 🥰🥰

Luis is an amazing host! He met us and not only showed us around the apartment but also the neighborhood. There are two great cafes a block away, a fruit & veggie store right around the corner. The beach and walkway that goes all the way to Cascais is only 300 meters away and a Continente grocery is only 1 km away. The apartment and especially the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals. The apartment and beds were very comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!

Pedro was the perfect host, he was very responsive when I initially messaged him about booking his apartment. He was also very flexible with regards to checking in and checking out. The view from the apartment is fantastic. It was great to watch the sunset over the ocean. The proximity to the beach cannot be beaten and it feels like that end of the beach is your own private beach where you can swim and enjoy lunch on the sand. It’s a little bit out from the town but a short stroll and you find yourself confronted with a wide range of restaurants and café ideal for lunch, breakfast or dinner. Dalila's place is an oasis: cozy, calm, and warm. For such an incredible location, we also felt that our time at home was just as lovely. We could cook meals in the kitchen, which had all the appliances we needed. A perfect place for a couple or small family to enjoy beaches and hikes. We hope to come back again!

Ralph is a very attentive and personable host who communicated well throughout our stay with great recommendations for the local area. The house itself is simple and was perfect for what we were looking for, no frills but good amenities and very well located. Praia das macas is a very beautiful place, we could have stayed much longer + will be back! If you are looking for a totally anonymous and self contained Airbnb experience then this probably isn’t for you as Ralph (host) is more present than we are typically used to with Airbnb - the check in is in person rather than keyless and so on. However, with the recommendations, provided maps and detail about the town it was a very welcome addition to have an English speaking host who actively wanted to provide a good experience. If you are considering this area - go! One of the best places we have ever visited as a couple and all of the locals were extremely friendly.

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect—beautiful, convenient, and close to everything we needed. We enjoyed our daily walks to the beach. The home itself was very comfortable and made our stay relaxing and feel like our home away from home . What truly made this experience exceptional was the host. She was kind, thoughtful, and very responsive. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

A casa é extremamente aconchegante e confortável, superando todas as expectativas. É o lugar perfeito para quem deseja se afastar um pouco da cidade sem precisar ir para o interior. Não há nada melhor do que acordar ao som dos pássaros e estar em um ambiente cercado de natureza. A experiência foi excelente em todos os aspectos.

We had a fantastic stay at Bruno’s Airbnb in Praia das Maçãs. The space is warm, open, and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay -large, cozy beds, a well-equipped kitchen (including a coffee machine), and even a trampoline, which our daughter loved! The design is tasteful and modern, with beautiful natural wood elements that give it the feel of a stylish hotel. One of the highlights was the stunning sunset views from the upstairs bedrooms. Bruno was a fantastic host -responsive, friendly, and welcoming. Although we didn’t have much time to explore the local village as we were visiting to view a house in the area, the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful 5 days in Sesimbra in October. The apartment is in a great location just a short walk to town and the beach. The apartment itself is clean and has a great veranda + pool with view. We were forecast rain and tropical storms whilst we were there and though a bit changeable we had some lovely sunny days and were able to hang out in the pool. We had a trip to the castle, Cabot Especiale and to see the Dinosaur foot prints. We especially enjoyed sampling the delicious food at the many restaurants and having a cocktail or two! The locals are super friendly and it was fun watching the surfers. During our stay there was a tropical storm and Jorge checked in on us and made sure we were aware of the alert and we're ok. We would love to come back some time. Thank you Jorge

It was a very cozy and spacious place. Even though it was chilly outside, the apartment had heating and was very warm. The host greeted us kindly, gave us all the necessary recommendations, and explained how to park in the underground garage. There’s a supermarket near the building where you can buy everything you need. In about a 10-minute walk, you can reach the coast with beautiful views, and you can get to the city center on foot in about 20 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great flat and great location! You can walk to several beaches, public transport, grocery shopping, lots of little cafes and all sorts of restaurants around, from very cheap to very high end. We went in February so didn't go into the pool but it was great to sunbathe and enjoy the garden with the baby since we could go out for just half an hour and didn't have to walk anywhere. The flat is a family home so it was perfect for our family of 3 with a 10 month old baby, specially because the hosts provide a high chair, a travel cot and a baby bath, all very comfortable. August and Teresa were also lovely, very communicative and friendly.

Rossana is a great host. Very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The apartment is well-located and makes you feel at home. The apartment has everything for a pleasant stay. Just a few minutes to the beachfront of Caparica, a supermarket and an excellent cafe around the corner.

Kleine maar fijne flat, met heerlijk ocean view én soundscape. Sixties-vibe gebouwtje van weleer, bestemd voor vakanties, dus fijn een Airbnb te vinden die de huizenmarkt in een stad niét verstoort. José is super bereikbaar en behulpzaam. Alles netjes en voorhanden, eenvoudig maar goed.

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!

Die Wohnung war sehr schön und gemütlich. Leider waren wir beruflich dort und nur einen kurzen Zeitraum. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer super Lage, die nachbaren waren ruhig. Nächstes Mal komme ich für ein Urlaub nach Lissabon und werde dort buchen sollte diese Wohnung frei sein
