Welcome to Hideaway, one of two charming cabins nestled on a hillside and surrounded by mature gum trees. Set on a 40-acre working farm, our retreat offers breathtaking views and a peaceful escape from the everyday. Located just a short drive from the iconic Hahndorf Main Street, Hideaway combines rustic charm with modern comforts, providing the perfect getaway in the picturesque Adelaide Hills.

The space
This rustic cabin features expansive windows that capture breathtaking views across the Adelaide Hills, showcasing rolling valleys, farmland, vineyards, and historic buildings.

The well-equipped kitchenette includes a gas cooktop, microwave, bar fridge, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay. The modern bathroom has all the essentials, while the cabin itself offers the perfect balance of charm and comfort. Cozy up by the combustion wood fire (with oven) on cooler evenings, or enjoy year-round comfort with air conditioning and a plush mattress for a restful night’s sleep.

Step onto the deck to watch the sunset or fire up the Weber Q for a relaxed barbecue. In winter, gather around the outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows and enjoy a glass of local red. On sunny days, enjoy lunch or a sunset dinner at the picnic table.

Firewood is available for purchase at $20 per bag.

Guest access
Self Check-in, giving you full access to the cabin, which sits on a fenced paddock of about 2 acres. You'll also have your own private fire-pit and picnic area to enjoy. Please note that another cabin is located 60 meters away in the same area.

Other things to note
Due to fire restrictions, outdoor fires are not permitted from 15th November - 1st May. Please check for updates from the hosts, as these restrictions may change.

We’ve opted not to include Wi-Fi in the cabin to help guests disconnect and unwind. However, the property offers full 4G/5G coverage for mobile phones, and a smart TV is available if you would like to connect.

Due to the farm's location with cattle and horses, we regret that pets are not allowed.
