In the heart of Woodend, this warmly styled home is perfect for couples or families looking to unwind & explore. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fireplace, & a sunny courtyard, it’s the perfect place to relax & recharge.
2min walk to cafes, wine bars, and Holgate Brewery, or head out to explore the Macedon Ranges, Daylesford, and surrounds— a premier destination for cycling, cool-climate wineries, boutique shopping, and dining. Head out and return to comfort and connection after a perfect day.
The space
A lovely home on a quiet street right in the middle of town.
With 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, and 1 king with ensuite) and a main bathroom with a bath, the house suits couples, families, or friends.
The sunny courtyard and northwest-facing garden are perfect for soaking up the afternoon light. Indoors, the north-facing living area stays bright and welcoming all day.
In cooler months, stay cosy with hydronic heating in every room, and a wood fire.
The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, whether you're sharing meals with family and friends or strolling into town to enjoy Woodend’s great cafes and restaurants.
Your hosts live just a few streets away and are happy to help with anything you need.
Woodend is a beautiful country town in the heart of the Macedon Ranges—just 50 minutes by train from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station. The house is only a short walk from the station, making arrival easy.
Everything you need is within walking distance: supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, wine bars, boutique shops, a brewery, tennis courts, gym, walking tracks, golf course, swimming pool, playgrounds, and more.
No pets please - however we can recommend the Langley Luxury Dog Hotel (about 20mins drive away) for your furry friends.
We offer automatic applied discounts for 7+ night stays or 28 + day stays. If you're looking at a longer term stay, we're also open to this but please get in contact to discuss.
If you are a couple/single person only wanting to use 1 x bedroom, please feel free to contact us first and request to book, as we can also offer you a discount (as long as the dates are during June - Oct & excluding school holidays and long weekends).

(Note - there is a large room at the back of the house that we are planning on setting up as a games/movie/chill out room. Currently it is not yet finished, so it’s an extra room, great for storing extra luggage, bikes or golf clubs etc as the room also has direct access to outside (just ask for the door code/instructions).
The room is heated on the hydronic heating, and there is a rug & sofa etc, so it can still be used as an extra space for kids to hang and play games.
