The Shed Stanthorpe is a brand new luxury Architect designed Shed House for up to 6 people, including two queen bedrooms and a private bunk nook. Located in the heart of town in a quiet street, a very short walk to all the restaurants and pubs. After exploring the Granite Belt and all it has to offer during the day, cosy up in the living room next to the fireplace.
Experience the ultimate short stay luxury in Stanthorpe. Perfect for girls long weekends, romantic getaways or a family adventure.

The space
The Shed is a beautifully designed home that captures the essence of its architectural inspiration, blending the modern Shed aesthetic with references to the surrounding industrial structures and traditional Queensland shearing sheds.

Step inside to discover a bright, open-plan space that features a striking high-pitched ceiling and elegant furnishings. This inviting interior contrasts beautifully with the bold black Colorbond exterior. The polished concrete floor highlights local granite stones, adding a touch of natural beauty.

Thoughtfully chosen interior design elements blend warm textures with modern luxuries, creating a harmonious and sophisticated atmosphere. The perfect place to escape for a girls weekend, a romantic getaway or a family country escape.
Fully air conditioned and heated, with a fireplace (firewood supplied) which warms the entire house on cold winter evenings.

All linen and towels are provided, as well as high-end toiletries, campos coffee pods, goose down doonas, and French flax linen quilts. There's a handy washer-dryer combo for tackling those red wine spills, and a small clothesline out back.

The open plan kitchen has everything you need to whip up a gourmet dinner, or simply put together a cheese platter and sit outside near the firepit with a glass of local wine. Dozens of local restaurants are literally at your doorstep, all within an easy walk.

Our charming shed is a creative sanctuary where we celebrate the arts. Enjoy our small library, where you can borrow a book to take home after your stay, and explore our walls adorned with Art by some of our favourite Queensland artists.

We’re just a short stroll from Quart Pot Creek, where you can check the big thermometer for the morning temperature. If you're feeling particularly energetic, a concrete pathway along the creek awaits, perfect for a refreshing morning run.

Guests have full access to the entire Shed and private yard.

We hope you love staying at The Shed as much as we do. Its our little labour of love and we are proud to share it with you.

Please note: We only have one bathroom, and one toilet. If this is a family group or a group of friends who do not mind sharing one bathroom, then it will be sufficient.

Bunkbeds: These are located in a hallway nook so not enclosed/private. We do have an alternative option of a pull out couch if you would rather use that, please advise via message so I can leave linen out.
