The Lookout is a stylish and unique off-grid accommodation. Which sets the stage for a memorable romantic getaway to the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. Located on the waterfront of picturesque Streaky Bay, in Eba Anchorage. A 15 minute drive from the township.
You will love soaking up the spectacular views out to Eba Island and breathtaking sunsets from the open plan 1 bedroom/living area or the balcony.
Amble to Perlubie Beach by foot and embrace this idyllic piece of paradise.
The space
The Lookout offers an exceptional connection with nature. Wake up to the soothing sounds of birds and the potential sightings of seals, pelicans, mermaids and dolphins; whilst sipping your tea/coffee or eating your breakfast.
Bask in the sunlight that floods this luxury space or cozy up with the gas heater on cooler days.
Complete with a queen size bed and linen, exceptional wardrobe space, generous sized bathroom including towels.
Enjoy our beautiful local beach or explore the many other wonderful attractions that Streaky Bay and the surrounding district has to offer.
Your perfect coastal waterfront retreat is just waiting for you.

* Please note this 1 bed, room is accessed via a relatively steep staircase.
* Keys accessed from either the Hosts or a key lock box.
* Access to the outdoor dining and outdoor kitchen facilities.
* Off street parking, with 81 m2 (9 x 9 metres) of a gravelled area available. Which is helpful, should you be travelling with a boat or caravan etc.
Plus 1x under cover carport space 2020 high (ie 2 metres)
* The main grounds to the property is also fully fenced for your privacy and peace of mind.
During your stay

Other things to note
* The property is off-grid. Operating by a solar powered battery system and rainwater. Please be conservative with these precious resources. Due to this, hairdryers, straighteners and any other high powered appliances can not be used. The bathtub is limited to Wintertime use only and/or subject to the level of our water tanks at that time. Also no washing of vehicles please. Being you are staying in Australia's driest state. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
* Wifi is available and free via our Starlink service. A Smart TV is also in the room. C/w free Stan & Stan Sport package.
* Tea/Coffee, breakfast cereals, bread & condiments for toast provided.
* Please also be mindful, to turn off everything except the fridge (to conserve the battery power & gas) and lock up your airbnb room, when venturing out for the day, to explore the beautiful Eyre Peninsula. As we are not always here ourselves!
* Quiet Hours: 10 pm to 8 am
* Your Hosts live on the property in the lower level, with their friendly dog Ringo. Who loves to get pats. The Lookout is a separate large upstairs accommodation which comprises of an open plan 1 bedroom/living area, bathroom (with separate toilet) and balcony.

We're a fun loving couple who enjoy our beach time, travelling and music.
After living in the South West of WA for many years and doing extensive travelling around Australia, we decided to finally lay our hats here in Eba Anchorage (Streaky Bay). A special place to us, that we had previously been holidaying at whilst visiting relatives, since 2009.
