Welcome to our cozy mud brick guesthouse. Nestled next to our family home (detached) & thoughtfully designed to offer a sense of privacy for adult couples or solo getaways. You may occasionally see (or hear) us & our 2 mini dachshunds in our front yard, but your space remains your own. Located in a family neighbourhood Ocean Beach, a popular coastal spot close to the main beach & known for its natural beauty and relaxed vibes. No children, infants or pets; no exceptions. Shoes off please :)

The space

Open-plan living and sleeping space with a Super King bed and a comfy seating area with Smart TV, Netflix on the house and fast Starlink Wi-Fi. Indoor fireplace for cosy winter nights. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom with spacious shower and toilet. Small (private) patio with BBQ & an outdoor bath. An open outdoor shower at entrance, perfect to rinse the beach day away.

RTR is in a family neighborhood setting, days start early and filled with activity and enjoyment, as night settles it becomes quiet and still. This is not a place for loud outdoor music or parties, but rather for peaceful, relaxed evenings unwinding whilst enjoying all the amenities.

One of the perks of our location is being a walk or short drive to Prawn Rock Channel & Ocean Beach as well Lights Beach. You may notice car activity during the day, especially during holiday season, when people head to the beach. Evenings are peaceful and quiet down beautifully!

The perfect base to explore Denmark’s coastline, wineries & local eats ~
*Right next to the Bibbulmun Track (Mount Hallowell section).
*Right next to the Munda Biddi Bike Trail.
*2.7 km to Ocean Beach, Denmark’s main beach (25 min walk along paddocks and inlet or 4 min drive).
*5.3 km to Lights Beach (6 min drive).
*5.4 km to William Bay National Park (6 min drive).
*6.8 km to Denmark town centre (8 min drive).
*18 km to Elephant Rocks, Elephant Cove & Greens Pool (15 min drive).

Guest access
Open parking is available directly in front of guesthouse (not undercover). Storage/garage not for guest use. Unfortunately, this property is not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with mobility limitations.

Other things to note
FIRE RISKS
Ocean Beach is a high fire-risk area, fireplace not to be used during warmer months, restricted burning months or during fire bans. *A single bag of firewood, per stay, provided during May-Oct (colder months) depending on availability. We’re unable to offer an unlimited supply to help keep costs reasonable.

WILDLIFE/INSECTS
Professionally maintained with regular pest control; we have no infestations. Set on a large, nature-filled block near Ocean Beach, so occasional wildlife and insects (birds, reptiles, rodents, flies, mosquitoes, spiders etc) are normal. No refunds or compensation for such encounters. Please keep doors/fly screen door closed and use the insect spray provided should you need it.

POWER OUTAGES
Denmark is a country town, and during stormy weather, occasional power outages can occur. Western Power usually restores outages quickly. Shorter outages are considered part of country living and do not qualify for refunds.
