The space
Our property spans 29.5 acres, including 10 acres of beautiful forest that we’re actively rehabilitating to provide a safe haven for native wildlife and endangered koalas. We live on-site and are always nearby should you need anything during your stay. Guests are welcome to wander the grounds and meet our friendly Highland cows and goats. Feel free to treat them to a bucket of hay, provided for you to feed the animals at your leisure.

We are a sustainable & eco friendly small family business. The cottages have solar panels and run on rain water. All our products are eco friendly, compostable, and recyclable.

Just over an hours drive from Brisbane is beautiful suburb of Mount Pleasant. With beautiful views across picturesque valleys, and mountains of the D’Aguilar ranges.
It is likely that the first inhabitants of the district were the Garumngar clan of the Jinibara people. The Garumngar clan, who spoke a dialect of Waka (or Waka Waka), were associated with the foothills, slopes and valleys of the D'Aguilar Range.

A short 10 minutes drive is the gorgeous township of Dayboro. With it’s historical buildings adding a touch of nostalgia to your visit. A warm and welcoming community and a thriving arts scene, cafes and gift shops; Dayboro offers a delightful escape for art enthusiasts and culture seekers alike.

Take another 30 minute scenic drive to beautiful Samford Village. Another town with beautiful preserved buildings, an array of charming cafes, an antique store, Saturday markets, history museum, park, gift shops, and Brisbanes famous Harry Potter Store of Requirements for official Harry Potter merchandise. Have a cupcake, chocolate frog, every flavoured bean, and some butter beer while browsing through this wonderful store. You can even get sorted into a house by the sorting hat!!
There are also many sites to explore including hiking, walking and swimming holes.
D'Aguilar National Park - Northern
Located near Brisbane, D'Aguilar National Park is the perfect place for a day trip or weekend away. Walk through open eucalypt gum forests and lush subtropical rainforests, take a refreshing plunge in creeks and waterholes. Discover the remains of an antique sawmill in The Gantry, or head to Rocky Hole track for a tranquil swim. Voted as one of the top attractions to visit near Brisbane, Rocky Hole is a stunning swimming hole etched into the natural contours of Mount Mee's granite filled gullies. Surrounded by open eucalypt forest, Rocky Hole is a picturesque location to take a dip on a hot summer day.
