Welcome to Hazelgrove — a peaceful country escape tucked beneath towering trees in the heart of Collector. Set on a beautiful, sprawling block, this charming retreat feels a world away from the rush, where mornings begin with birdsong, fresh country air, and coffee from Some Café the cosy café just across the road.

The space
Designed for big families and unforgettable group getaways, Hazel Grove is a place where everyone finds their own special corner. The kids can retreat to their own space for games and adventures, while the adults gather around the crackling indoor fireplace or share stories beneath the stars around the outdoor firepit.

Spend long afternoons exploring nearby wineries, discovering the charm of Collector, or taking an easy drive into Canberra before returning to your peaceful haven among the trees.

With spacious outdoor entertaining areas, warm and welcoming living spaces, and a sense of calm that settles over you the moment you arrive, Hazel Grove is more than a stay — it’s the backdrop for slow mornings, laughter-filled evenings, and memories made together.

-🍷 Wineries: Lerida Estate and Lake George Winery are just outside Collector around Lake George. Lerida is open everyday until 5 pm. Collector Wines will open their tasting room later this year and is just in the village.
- ☕ Food: Some Cafe is the well-known little country café in an old historic building, open everyday until 2 pm. Olive View Cafe & Restaurant is open until 4 pm each day and is just a few minutes down the road!
- 🚶 Bushranger Reserve: a large reserve beside the village where you can wander around; there’s also a pump track if you've got bikes with you.
- 🏛️ Historic village walk: check out St Bartholomew’s, the old churches and the monument to Constable Samuel Nelson. Collector has quite a bit of bushranger-era history.
- 🥕 Collector Fresh: local produce/artisan stuff.
- 🔥 Garden fireplace: Settle in around the fireplace in the garden for a cosy afternoon/evening — pick up a bag of firewood from the IGA on your way into town!
- 🥾 Bungonia National Park: Head out for a bushwalk and explore the dramatic limestone gorges, rugged cliffs and beautiful lookouts — a great little adventure not far from Collector.
