A design-led lakeside home on a quiet crescent in one of the Tweed Coast's most tucked-away villages. Fingal Head Lakehouse overlooks Wommin Lake where mornings start slow: espresso on the deck, sunrise swims in your private pool, a short walk to Dreamtime Beach.

This tri-level home is filled with earthy tones, raw textures and soft linen against polished concrete. With room for 9, it's made for holidays with the people you love.

The space
A tri-level home designed to host friends and families who want space to spread out — and then come back together.

MAIN LEVEL (Entry)
Open-plan living, dining and kitchen under high raked ceilings. The living room has a large linen sectional, ceiling fans and air conditioning. Dining seats the whole group at a fluted timber table with banquette seating.
The kitchen is properly equipped including gas stove and oven, dishwasher, Smeg appliances - espresso machine, kettle and toaster.

UPPER LEVEL
Main bedroom with a king bed, ensuite, air conditioning and ceiling fan.
Second queen bedroom and ceiling fan.
Third bedroom with two single beds.
Full bathroom with bathtub and shower.

LOWER LEVEL
A king bedroom with second lounge area. Full bathroom with walk-in shower. Laundry with Bosch washer and dryer.

OUTSIDE
Fenced pool, firepit, covered entertaining area, BBQ, outdoor dining off the kitchen, and an outdoor shower at the front of the property for the post-beach rinse.

Design features include polished concrete and hardwood floors, plantation shutters, brass fixtures, zellige tiles, and a palette that shifts from blush to terracotta to sage across rooms. This is a home that's been designed, not just furnished.

Guest access
Entire home. All three levels, pool, yard, covered outdoor area and BBQ. Driveway fits five cars or 3 cars and a boat.

Other things to note
Wommin Lake sits just across the street, and you are welcome to use the canoe during your stay. Life jackets are provided and we recommend wearing them whenever you are out on the water. — no private lake access or watercraft, but public walking paths start at the doorstep. Three levels with internal stairs.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Fingal Head is a quiet coastal village set on a narrow spit between the Tweed River and the Pacific Ocean. From here, you can walk to beautiful Dreamtime Beach through ancient littoral rainforest. The Fingal Head Lighthouse and the unique Giant’s Causeway basalt rock formation are also close by.

For coffee or a relaxed afternoon, Salt and Stone (Sheoak Shack) sits right on the riverbank and often has live music on weekends. Just around the corner you’ll find the famous Cubby Bakehouse, and their pastries are a must.

Another local favourite is Mimi’s Café at Fingal Beach. They serve great coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, acai bowls and natural ice blocks that kids love.

If you feel like exploring further, Kingscliff is only 10 minutes south and Coolangatta is about 10–15 minutes north.

GETTING AROUND
Gold Coast Airport: ~15 min. Brisbane Airport: ~90 min. Ballina Byron Gateway: 45–60 min south. A car is recommended. Note the QLD/NSW border — during daylight saving, NSW is one hour ahead.
