Built circa 1921, Blue Jay Cottage is an adults-only retreat that blends original charm with modern comfort. You’ll have exclusive use of the entire cottage with your own entry, driveway, and complete privacy. It’s a calm, boutique‑style stay designed for couples or solo travellers who want to switch off and feel at home.
The space
Inside, with its high ceilings, the thoughtfully designed layout gives you plenty of room to settle in. You’ll find a cosy lounge with reverse-cycle air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchenette with a Nespresso pod machine, a spacious bathroom featuring heat lamps, a heated towel rail and a deep soaking bath, plus a quiet central bedroom with a queen bed for a restful night's sleep.
Step out to the semi‑enclosed verandah overlooking the garden — equipped with a ceiling fan and heat strip for year‑round comfort — ideal for unhurried mornings or a gentle close to the day.
Only a 7–10 minute stroll to the main street — home to the Premier Mill Hotel with its Dome Café and Cordial Bar, plus local pubs and eateries — Blue Jay Cottage is the perfect place to relax, with everything close by.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire cottage, its front verandah, the front garden area, and the driveway. Other areas of the property are private.

• Adults only — maximum 2 guests.
Due to safety and insurance requirements, we're unable to accommodate infants, children, or pets.
• The cottage does not include guest laundry facilities. A laundromat with washing machines and dryers is conveniently located approximately 650m down the road.
• Your hosts are situated at the rear of the property and are nearby if you need anything at all. Your stay remains completely separate and private.
