In the primary LODGE, discover three bedrooms adorned with built-ins, ceiling fans, and ducted air conditioning/heating, with 2 king-size bedrooms offering water views and a third bedroom with a bunkbed for 4. A dedicated office space with fast complimentary NBN internet, a separate media room and a fully equipped laundry cater to extended stays. Experience the comfort of Scandinavian-inspired decor with warm timber flooring. Whether it's a chilly evening or a sunny day, the kitchen seamlessly opens to the dining area and a heated front deck, creating an inviting space for year-round gatherings. Just 90 minutes north of Sydney, you’ll feel yourself easing into holiday mode. You’ll love every day in Lake Macquarie. The largest saltwater lake in the southern hemisphere and more than twice the size of Sydney Harbour. Swimming spots are plentiful. There are so many beaches to choose from, as well as a lagoon for the smallest of travellers.

If you wish to go fishing, the closest place is a short walk from the Lodge, at Wyee Point Reserve. You can access the lake frontage from the Boat Ramp via a lovely bush track at the end of Government Road. You can also go hiking along the water's edge, have a picnic or take a dip in the lake. If you wish to go for more bushwalks, you can check out the Watagans National Park. Alternatively, you can borrow our kayaks to explore the local waterways! Or hop on our bikes and take in the sights.
