Welcome to Big Yard Farm in the beautiful Snowy Mountains. Set on 100-acres of lush pasture, dotted with the region’s snow gums and bordering the Kosciuszko National Park, Big Yard Farm welcomes guests for a premium stay on a regeneratively operated cattle farm.
Around 15 minutes’ drive from the Snowy Mountains capital Jindabyne, Big Yard Farm offers a tranquil base from which to explore the region’s snow sports as well as summer activities like hiking, trout fishing and mountain biking.

The space
A three-bedroom house with premium appointments, two open fires and a pool room, plus long verandahs for lounging and dining provides guests with a luxuriously comfortable farm stay. The house is surrounded by rolling green lawns, gardens, grapevines, lavender rows and heritage roses.

Guest access
Guests at Big Yard Farm have private access to 100-acres of Snowy Mountains pasture and alpine bushland, plus 500-metres river frontage, blue-ribbon trout flyfishing territory and also home to platypus and wombats along its banks.

Other things to note
As Big Yard Farm is in a remote, tranquil location there's no mobile coverage at the house so it's a real chance to switch off from the busyness of the every day and spend time with friends and family.

There is ready access to wifi (and wifi calls) via the Starlink satellite connection.

There is also a first aid kit and defibrillator onsite for emergencies.
