Across the road from the beach and creek, the Beach Pad offers all that’s needed to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Pottsville. Located at the southern end of Elanora Ave, you're midway between access points to the beach - 250 metres in either direction. It's a short walk to town to grab your daily coffee or take advantage of the bi-monthly Potty markets. Unwind and slow down to the laidback lifestyle of this gorgeous little village. At night, fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
The space
This is a townhouse, located at the rear of a block of three. The lounge, dining, kitchen, and small shower/toilet are downstairs (perfect for washing off from the beach). Upstairs are the two bedrooms, plus the main bathroom with a bath and shower. Outside is a small L shaped courtyard with table and bench seats.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Double bed
Off street parking is available for one vehicle. Otherwise, a second car can be parked in the quiet street at the front of the building.
Guest access
You'll have the entire house to yourselves.
Other things to note
If you're a foodie, don't miss out on Pipit, run by award winning chef Ben Devlin. Alternatively, head in to the hinterland - an easy loop is via Tweed Valley Whey for the very tasty cheese grazing platter. Whilst on the loop, visit the Tweed Gallery, (the Margaret Olley Installation is a must see), Uki, Tumbulgum and finish the day at Husk Gin Distillery.
Whilst the surf and creek are the highlight of this accommodation - for an alternative view from the water, Tweed Eco Cruises are not to be missed. They offer a variety of half and full day trips.
Keen to travel further afield? Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby and Byron Bay are only a short drive south.
The popular Rail Trail walk/cycle runs from Murwillumbah to Crabbes Creek. Bikes can be rented from either end, in Murwillumbah or Mooball.
Buses are available on Tweed Coast Road.
Pottsville is a 20 min drive south from Coolangatta Airport.
Please note that Coolangatta Airport is on QLD time, whilst Pottsville is on NSW time.

It's a very short stroll into the village, where you can take advantage of the Potty markets on the first and third Sunday of each month; hit the cafes for your daily caffeine fix; or enjoy a dining experience at award winning Chef, Ben Devlin's Pipit (2022 - Top 20 NSW - Gourmet Traveller).
