Welcome to our gorgeous seaside villa located front row on the iconic Great Ocean Road within the beautiful township of Apollo Bay, Victoria.

The space
Located front row on the Great Ocean Road, Beach Break is a cosy, clean and comfortable pet-friendly two-bedroom villa with uninterrupted ocean views.

The beach is directly across the road and the town is a short 5-minute walk offering fabulous cafes, restaurants and shops. Walk the beach in one direction and head towards Skenes Creek or walk along the shoreline to the harbour and enjoy a seafood lunch at the Seafood Co-op.

The view is absolutely superb from the front rooms at Beach Break. One of our favourite things to do is to hop up early (not every morning!) and watch the sun rise from the ocean. And it really doesn't matter which season it is - Summer will draw you outside for a beach walk or swim and in Winter there's a good chance you might just see a Southern Right whale swim past!

We have had great fun styling Beach Break over the years. It has wonderful vaulted ceilings which we have decorated with nautical finds from around the globe - an old life-saving ring from Marseille and a huge wire ship from Avignon, France, sit high in the dining space; large retro prints produced by our business Retro Print Merchants adorn the walls and an old wooden surfboard makes a great side table.

We want Beach Break to be a relaxing place that offers home-like comforts so we have made a point of stocking food basics (good olive oil, herbs), good quality bedding, luxurious bath towels, fast WiFi, bluetooth stereo, a Weber bbq (in the back fully-enclosed courtyard), board games and more.

We look forward to you staying at Beach Break and enjoying everything that this cosy seaside villa and this beautiful part of the world has to offer.

Beach Break is located on the iconic Great Ocean Road.

Park your car in your private undercover carport out the front and then spend the rest of your time car free if you wish - the beach is across the road and cafes, shops and restaurants are an easy 5 minute stroll.

Other things to note
We employ professional cleaners to clean Beach Break so you can be assured that the property has been cleaned properly and bedroom linen and bathroom towels professionally laundered.

Neighbourhood highlights

Beach Break is situated front row on the Great Ocean Road. It's a short 5 minute walk into town or a brisk 8 minute walk along the beach to the harbour for fish and chips. You can pretty much leave your car in the carport and walk everywhere during your stay.

And can I also say that we have gorgeous neighbours in the other three apartments behind Beach Break. Both couples (one couple owns two - the apartment directly behind Beach Break is for their adult children to stay in occasionally) are semi retired and really lovely people so if you see them out the front feel free to say hello. It's a very safe, friendly environment.

Hello my name is Penny. Matt and I have owned Beach Break for just over 13 years. We've enjoyed so many holidays in Apollo Bay over the past 30 years and actually had our honeymoon staying at Beacon Point way back in 1990. Buying Beach Break was a serendipitous moment. We just happened to be in the right place at the right time and the bank said yes (still pinching myself about that!) Looking back I think it was meant to be and we've loved every minute of turning Beach Break into our own little seaside escape and styling it so that others can enjoy it as well.
